So, With 6.1 we all got our awesome new recipes right

Nah, we didn't.

We had to wait until the server decided to maybe spawn a trader for us.....and then wait for the trader to be the one we wanted.

Great fun...

Unless your like me and the herb trader is still yet to spawn on my server and I'm quite impatient.

SO

Instead of just waiting, what I have been doing is this instead.

It's quite simple really.

1. Check my server and friends (pft who doesn't)

anndddddd

2. Join every pre-made raid group that's running and go to view leaders garrison.


In 30 mins, I picked up 3 Harrison Jones quests, 2 daily raid quests from Saurfang, 3 Shadow Hunter guy quests and you guessed it, finally my herb Trader

Now if your like my server, then having the herb trader early means one big big big thing.

Just walked into someone's garrison and there wasn't a single NPC there , no Saurfang, trader, nothing.

they don't spawn unless the leader is in the garrison as well.

Harrison jones is daily quest? not sure how you did it 3 times.

Pretty sure the profession npc is the same on all servers so US has same guy EU has a different guy, and you cannot raid finder into a EU realm.

Did you guys know that the recipes the trader sells are often usable at skill lvl 1,
meaning for instance, a lvl 1 LW can go to someone's garrison leather trader,
get the leather and burnished essence formulas,
and make these items with no skill req...

was able to get all LW patterns on my rogue who had LW skill 1.
seems easier to manipulate the server economy for skins/resources than to farm it myself.

i'm also watching my Trading post vendor to see when the raw materials are at 4 resources per item,
it's good to max on some of that stuff pre-emptively.

also if you find out which trader is the daily DON"T TELL the other jerks until you buy the raw mats you need first.
protect yourself don't just give it all away.

i.e. you can pig out and then make it look like you're generous later lol

How did you get the right trader, on all my alts/server are the same trader

The profession trader spawns are the same for everyone and in a set order ore>dust>fur>leather>herb and repeat. The herb trader hadn't spawned on any server in any region up until today. So no you can't switch groups and expect to find different profession traders.
