Solo Razorgore the Untamed [BWL]

Hey fellas,

I've been farming my rogue transmog in BWL so I figured I'd make a guide on how to solo Razorgore for those who don't know how.

There are guides on soloing this encounter dating all the way back to WOTLK- not sure why you felt the need to make another one?..

I like this forum, let me tell you. As you can see I've been here for a bit. But I am fascinated by the obsession with reposts.

I read the rules and reposts are not allowed. But we need to understand why they are not allowed. The rule is in place to avoid multiple thread spam in short periods of time. If someone found a way to dupe items we wouldn't want to have 50 threads crop up with exactly the same method within a day. Understandable.

Now, I searched the guide forums and found one guide for Razorgore that involves being a Hunter (can't check if it still works). This one does.

So while you may know about this method, there are plenty of people who don't. I was one of them. So I made a quick guide for my YT channel and, again, since I wasn't able to find this guide here I posted it.

My intention was not to gain reputation for something that might or might not be known but to help part of the community that might be new to wow or might not know about this way of soloing Razorgore.

ive found myself struggling with this solo couple of weeks ago. Why? because the adds seems to aggro a whole lot more on razorgore thus he takes a whole lot more damage, dies, aaaaaaand its a wipe. I looked up for razorgore guides post-WoD and the guides was showing this wall trick where you go there and wait to all the mobs to aggro on you until they stop spawning then you go and kill the eggs. It may be not original, but is a new approach to the boss since the re-scaling of things.

I wanted to share a method with you who do BWL without starting another thread.

Get any level 80+ trinket that on demand summons a helper.
This includes the Mogu stone warrior from Pandaland rares and maybe the recent Barov thing, stuff like that.
Any item (Piju brew?) that can summon a high level slave.

then you just control Razorgore as normal and let the Mogu statue or whomever tank all mobs near the orb. he should clear up to half the room.


i think i had better luck with my minion trinket than with my friend, we kept triggering the explode somehow.
the trinket method is really fast, you don't risk exploding and don't have to wait as long.

Haha! exactly. seems like people on here wanna tell u how they know the method or a different way of doing it or that its a repost (even though there's not a thread on the first page about it) more so then giving credit to the time u made to contribute.
