Garrison Invasion- how to get one

So there was a vague blue post a week ago about garrison invasions stating you needed to piss off a certain faction by killing them a lot. This is true but it seems like some people even after hours of grinding the level 100 mobs that are required to initiate an invasion are not getting them to occur. Myself personally I skipped the lvl 92 invasion and I believe that glitches the 100 version from happening. I was farming council rep and went all the way upto exalted without getting an invasion, than I helped someone else and my invasion quests showed up. The solution is to get invited to an invasion that someone else is having. Once you participate in someone else's invasion this glitch goes away and you are able to get your own invasions. The best way that I've found to do this is by farming rep and having someone in that group bring you along, or ask a guildie or friend. I know this has caused a lot if confusion for people so I hope this helps. On a side note id like to point out there are 6 diff factions that can invade you. You can be rewarded with an epic loot bag once per week from each type of invasion, so 6 total epic loot bags per week

Also another side note, you can get war forged pieces from the epic loot bag for completing gold, a hunter I brought into one of my invasions got an ilvl 651 bow (war forged version of 645 weapons that can drop in the loot bag)

I skipped the first invasion too, because the first zone was litterally bricked on my realm the first two days, yet I invoked the invasion you get from killing for the Arakkoa reputation last night.

TL;DR op is "wrong"; you can skip first invasion, and get future invasions.

I really don't understand why people are so quick to be pricks in this site... I'm sharing what seemed to work for me... I said I "believe" that skipping the 92 invasion glitches it... Wether that's the reason or not it doesn't change the fact that even after farming kills MANY people have not been able to initiate a garrison invasion. Maybe it wasn't an issue for you so congrats on your invasion but this thread is not meant for you apparently. It is meant for people that have farmed kills for hours and not gotten an invasion. But hey thanks for your opinion mine is also that you are WRONG and if you don't have anything useful to contribute sometimes it's best to stfu

I think the problem is that you posted a "guide" and none of it is correct. Maybe that's the issue.

Anyway, you can only get one reward a week. Not "one per invasion type."

And one thing that increases the invasion rate is by doing the same garrison apexis daily in a row. My friends did The Pit every time it was up and got an invasion from that faction.

Your assumption is that it has something to do with the "farming of kills" when it is really just repeating the certain dailies. It could be as simple as # of times any one of those dailies is done triggers an invasion.

So not sure what you think anyone is wrong about, stating that it must be bugged because people are "farming kills" and its not triggering it.... uhhh....

that's like saying onyxia's head quest is bugged because i killed nefarion 20 times and didn't trigger it! derp!

When this was posted there was a bug getting an invasion... Look at hot fixxes, also you are wrong you can get multiple epic loot bags per week I've gotten 3 this week

Just wanted to add.

I've been killing lotta shadow council mobs in shattrath this week just while doing my daily quest assaults (had about 4 harbor dailies pop) and did not farm them on purpose to get an invasion. And I was quite surprised to get a Shadow Council Invasion pop after turning the daily quest in.

That being said, turning in the daily apexis quests adds the hatred with a certain faction upon completing.

Unfortunately, I didn't even bother to take a screenshot, so I'm sorry for not being able to prove it. Also sorry if this has already been posted.

TL;DR: farming the mobs in the area where you've been frequently doing apexis daily quests speeds up getting an invasion from this very faction.

This is the important part folks:

You can get multiple invasions every week, but you will only get a reward from ONE invasion.

So, just do the same daily every time and you should easily get an invasion weekly thus getting your reward every week.
Farming for another invasion is a waste of time.
