Ulduar, full clear SOLO

As we all know, patch 6.0.2 made old content easy to solo with all classes due to scaling.
A roadblock for most solo runs is Thorim in Ulduar where you needed atleast 2 people (unless you did the pet/engineer trick).
Before the patch you had to have someone/pet standing in the arena area or use speed increases such as engineering/potions/worgen racial/talents to bypass the mechanic.
That is NOT necessary anymore.
I ran in to Ulduar with my warlock to use the pet trick and what a surprise, you don't need to use tricks anymore! Just run in, clear the arena, open the gate and run to Thorim.
He will not oneshot you anymore!

Yes, Valithria in ICC is easy as well if you have got some sort of healing ability.
How is not not new? Patch is a whole 3 days old. So yeah, maybe it's not new at all

All instances, 80-85 are really easy. ICC, Ulduar, ToTC, BwD, BoT, Firelands, ToT4W, DS.. prolly forgot some, but you get the general idea ;( Happy hunting folks!

I definitely read blue post regarding this a few months ago, it was either in the last Blizzcon, or Blues answering a question regarding Blizz plans for soloing old raids in WOD.

Don't get use to it. They hotfixed damage and scaling so it is similar now to 5.4.8. No more 1.25 million dps.

Afaik you only start losing sanity after you've destroyed the brain since 6.0 which makes the whole encounter as easy as eaking cake

If you have a pet it is, but else if you get caught by the tentacles you're gonna have a bad time.

Any point blank AoE or ground based AoE can hit those (you're not stopped from casting/attacking you just count as not facing the tentacle)

I did post this AFTER the hotfix. It's still easy, ran LK25HC and yogg25 with 520 toons, easy mode The only problem that might be is the tentacles on Yogg, if you have as gingwin said, aoe/ground aoe will take care of it unless you have a pet that you can control
