Easy 2k/hour vendoring crafted items (Tailoring)

A really simple tip/guide for those that afk alot and want to make a buck while doing it.

Windwool cloth, as cheap as it is right now can easily profit you around 1-7g a stack by crafting them into cloaks and vendoring those.

Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Cloak of Prowess - Item - World of Warcraft Sells for 17g, 4s, 27c and aslong as you don't spend more then that on the Bolts or Cloth you can make a tidy profit. You can learn to craft the cloak through the usage of your Imperial silk cooldown. If for example a stack of Bolts cost 70g on your server:

    17g (4 bolts equals a cloak) * 5 = 85g.

The break even point is a little bit over 85s/cloth or 4.25g/bolt, so aslong as you stay below these values when purchasing the cloth, not only will you inflate the economy a bit, but you can make a nice and steady profit while you are at it! If cloth prices are really low on your server, you can even make up to 3-4k an hour with regular cloth postings ^^

Nor is it a bad idea to label a repost accordingly, and/or credit those who posted it before you.

Bumping this since i wanna point out that with patch coming soon, most people and farmers are dropping their stuff on ah for ridiculously cheap prices, so this flip is very viable.

Also wanted to say for leatherworkers:

    Prismatic scale

Stormscale Bracers 4g22s at vendor and it takes 5 Prismatic scale (84silver/craft)

*The blue Stormscale Bracers are 5g46s at vendor, and u will get one blue every 10-15 items, so that's even more profit. (that is if u don't wanna sell them @ah, some ppl are still leveling)

So as long as u keep buying scales at let's say 70silver each u will make atleast 1g for each item created.

    Exotic Leather

Misthide Bracers 4g08s at vendor and it takes 5 Exotic Leather (81.6silver/craft)

*Blue Misthide Bracers are 5g29s at vendor

So as long as u keep buying leather at let's say 70silver each u will make atleast 1g for each item created.

You dodge, that tailors, who do this do not buy bolts but rough cloth, so the actual link should be WoW Auction House Prices / Windwool Cloth, EU - Twisting Nether / Horde
or Windwool cloth for 61s or 3.05g per bolt, which stands for 12.2g per crafted item, still under the line.

Thanks for pointing out that mate, but on a huge server like Twisting Nether, there is no much diffrence between rough and crafted one. Tbh I don't like this side of my realm. And I did check ingame/my addons for the possible median price, it was around "0.9 - 1" gold per rough cloth, It makes 18+ gold again. The website put mark next to cloth pricing because it is not a valid pricing but just for a limited time it went down.

Either way, thanks for your help. I should consider transfering to a mid populated realm.

No it does not, check your sources:

Crafted Dreadful Gladiator's Cloak of Prowess - Item - World of Warcraft

You probably made that mistake because there are two sets of cloaks, first one listed in your tailroing menu indeed cost 6 bolts, but under them there's a list of cheaper (material-wise) cloaks.

Don't scare me like that dude

U can do this with JC too. if u buy ores for under 1G each and/or Lapis Lazuli - Item - World of Warcraft (the other colors too) for under 2G each and then craft Shadowfire Necklace - Item - World of Warcraft and Ornate Band - Item - World of Warcraft then there is also a good amount of gold in that when u vendor it. if u use the prospect methode I suggest u just vendor the uncut rare gems, u can craft them and vendor and make 50s xtra each gem, but the time is not worth it tbh. I made over 20k the last couple of days, and that is not including the buy cheap in trade and sell for profit that I have made while crafting.
