I use the same exact methods and I'm just now closing in on 2 million gold. He is right about doing the old raids. I do ALL Vanilla through Cataclysm every week and it nets me anywhere from 10 k minimum to 30 k depending on pattern and BOE drops. Seriously give it a try.

the truth is that old content was gold mine due 250g / boss - back i wotlk you could make around 20-30k per taking solo class just only by lootig gold from bosses & others drops were just an extra thing... now that extra thing is being farmed - kind of irony =)

I will like to add Windward Isle because with aoe class like mage lock or monk you can make with tailoring 10k gold per hour minimum if you know what to do
