If you level tailoring, you currently need 350 windwool cloth to bridge from 525-600. Otherwise you can still transform the bolts into bags or spirit dust.

No, but Blizzard decided to put the duped TCG Pets (Spectral Cub Pet, Soul Trader, Tusk Dragon Kite) on the new BMAH in WOD, so i assume the prices will settel soemwhere between 15-20k. I think 20k is the starting bid, you can check a thread on MMO Champion where some dude posts everyday whats in the BMAH, they put up some sweet stuff (Tabard of Void, Elegon+Sha Mount).

yes, there is a new bag:

Hexweave Bag - Item - World of Warcraft

30 slot bag and needs 10 hexweave cloth + 5 sorcerous earth.
so every 10 days you get a bag.
but its only 2 more slots and afaik Royal Stachel or Imperial Silk will have no cd, so i guess it will be easier to just craft the 28 bags for the AH instead of only 1 every 10 days.
also will need a new faction to reach exalted with much like in MOP August Celestials.

tl, dr: not worth it though.

Wow multi-millionaire who has done the new expansion stocking up every expansion, I wanted to say good guide.

There is something I think that should be added though. TRILLIUM BARs... these will become decidedly more rare, but they are needed to craft Living Steel, which is then used in almost every single desired, crafted mount from the MoP expansion. The most notable one is the latest Eng flyer mount Sky Golem. Yes, those mounts have gone down a lot in value because 500 engineers on your server are making em lol. However, there will be a decent market of people wanting to collect all older mounts, including the other 2 crafted Eng mounts too. This is another reason to think about stocking up Ghost Iron bars too. I currently have enough bars so I can keep doing my daily Engineering CD for the next 2 years, and then I'll have the Living Steel to match it. Yes, it is a crazy long-term investment, but these mats will get a lot more expensive and right now they are at liquidation prices practically. My server selling Ghost Iron ore at like 25g p/stack right now. Trillium bars are selling 20-25g each. Had a guy yesterday post up 38 stacks of them for 18g per bar. I bought em all.

Cloth typically remains useful for at least one more expansion... if you go back 2 expansions then the new stuff trumps it by so much that it does become useless, hence why that cloth you mentioned is worthless. However, look at MoP, I was selling Cata Embersilk that I had stocked up before MoP hit when they were in liquidation at like 5-10g p/stack. I would often sell them for 75g+ p/stack as no one was farming the stuff anymore. Had 5 bank tabs full of the stuff... sold it all over a period of 3-4 months, pulled in close to 30k profit. Which honestly is not a lot, but the way I see it, is every little bit counts and adds to the pie.

well you still need a TON of them to level through cataclysm tailoring and Hypnotic Dust is needed as well for enchant. unless blizz implements some fasttrack way for tailoring/enchanting sometim in WOD like with blacksmith.

edit: ghost iron bar will also still be profitable since you can use it to powerlevel BS 1-600. might be pricey, but much smoother than going through all the addons or even just to fill out some missing gaps.

UBRS is getting revamped and theres a high chance that the old loot tables will be considered unobtainable. in that case, these items should skyrocket in price over the next few years.

Flask of the titans can be bought from the Sha'tar faction.

Arcane Reaper plans drop in LBRS, technically these dungeons is one big, but I see no reason, why they would remove LBRS. They will probably just make a different entrance to it, so UBRS gets it owm.

Elven Wind Boots drop in LBRS too. So these items are not getting revamped or becoming obsolete, atleast we got no indication that they should be come obsolete.

If you plan on selling raw mats in WoD it won't happen, none will buy them since you can lvl any profession to 600 with new catch-up mechanic using WoD mats
Don't stock on stuff, rather get rid on it now. I believe mount mats will be still on demand as people would still like to get those together with craftable pets also if you do garrison every day you will never want to visit ah again for mats for your own use

That Bag is gated behind the Trading Post Garnison building (medium plot) and you need level 2 or so. Not sure if BOP or BOE and you can send them to alts, but if they were BOE, wouldnt it be useless to gate them behind a faction?
