I've done this over 120 times now. No hilt so far. You have to be lucky to make this gold method pay off. Unfortunately my server is filled 24/7 on farming spots in MoP so i'll keep going ^^

@ my realm price for frostweave is 30g too... but you can make bolts, bags and other stuff to get more gold^^.

I sold 2 hilts a few weeks ago for 4,5k and 6k gold.

One year ago i sold it for 12k+... Good ol times

4 hilts this week so far, 2 sold 1 in my bag that i just found, hell im som kind of lucky tho^^ Oh and a shit ton of Cloth which is sold around 30-40g/stack which is totally fine

So I got a hilt after a couple of days of farming casually. I've also been trying to sell the greens on the AH rather than vendoring to see if I can squeeze it for more profit. Overall it's not a bad farm spot. Here are some the problem's I've faced as a Hunter, I don't have any heals, so there's no way for me to heal the curse, you get it and you'll die (I'm gonna try to feign death + eat next time). Sometimes you'll get knocked off your mount and it'll ruin the run and you'll possibly die. Other classes probably have it easier.

Yes that is the only bad thing about it. I never ever got knocked off, probably because I'm a guardian druid, and also got heals to top my HP up when I get the curse.

You have to be quick with hiding in the stairs so you'll get line of sight out of the casters. It is the Vrykul mobs that rides on the drakes that casts the curse, so focus to kill those first if you're having issues.

so if u have Zügel des großen Expeditionsyaks - Gegenstand - World of Warcraft then use this while mobbing, for me, most of the time the mobs slow me and knock down an npc from the mount instead of me! You could also get a ~500gs Blood dk whis is pretty good and can kill and heal himself pretty good!

this spot is still my bread and butter as a tailor. Hilts are going for 5-6k on my server (and still selling) but sadly i havent looted any since my first session(i was lucky enough to get two). Frostweave bags are going for 150+ so im making 1500 g in 30 mins. I dont bother putting greens on the AH cuz world drops have better stats for that level range. So i disenchant them
