Level 75 Shockadin Twink Mini-Guide

I posted a thread a few months ago regarding how overpowered Glyph of Harsh Words (Glyph of Harsh Words - Item - World of Warcraft) is for the level 70 range as a Holy Paladin. I decided to expand on that a little bit so you guys could see it for yourselves.

For those of you who were around for vanilla and TBC, the Shockadin (offensive Holy Paladin) was a real thing. Unbeknownst to most, it has returned, just not at end game.. It dwells in the level 70 bracket.

The real power comes from Word of Glory. A 3 holy power Word of Glory crits like a TRUCK, one shotting people in average or lower gear.

Rotation:
KEEP YOU AND YOUR BUDDIES ALIVE>3 HP WoG>Holy Shock>Judge>CS>Instant Flash of Lights via Selfless Healer. Fist of Justice on cooldown, wait til you have 3 Holy Power before stunning and you can always kill within the stun.

Gear:
CRIT. Crit crit crit. We gear and build for damage, with twinked gear healing should not be but one or two heals and you will be full.

Tips:
Wait til Holy Avenger comes off cooldown to take out that mean twink hunter that is 25-0 in your battleground. Save a pocket Fist of Justice, pop AW and HA and proceed to 3 shot him in the stun. Crusader Strike any enemies that run by you for a quick Holy Power, but always try to stay at range, as that is where 90% of your sustained and all of your burst damage comes from.

It loses power after the 70 bracket because the health pool goes up so much. But yes, it works at 85, you would have to take more a support dps role and snipe kills rather than 2 shotting people though.

Ok thanks. Just that I have an 85 pally still and I was wondering what to do with her as she was a twink before the gem and enchant nerfs

Does it scale well at level 78-79 BGs with Cata gear? What about level 80-84 bracket with a mix of cata and mop blues?

I believe cata gear is when it starts losing power due to the health pool increase. Don't get me wrong, it is really strong pre 90 regardless of the level bracket once you get the Harsh Words glyph. It is just strongest around TBC and WOTLK due to how hard WoG hits compared to the health pool. I haven't tested in the cata gear brackets and on to be honest, let me know how it goes for you guys!

Your best bet for this is to lock your character in at level 80 or 81 and use the MoP blues (ilvl 409 and 417).
You can find those items using this search:
Wowhead

Modify the search as you see fit, (i.e. Plate Armor, Trinket, Ring, etc.)

Also, note that some items, such as the trinkets, are Unique-Equipped.
