Darkmoon Goodies, the easy way.
I searched and searched and then searched some more, and I didn't see this covered in any posts. It could be that it is in the Elite section and I just don't have access to it.
So, do you hate the fact that there's a limit to how many Darkmoon Faire tickets you can get per month? Sites like Icy Veins say the most you can get in a month is 145.
What if I told you that's false? What if I told you there's a way you can get that many in the first day, and still keep getting at least 60 per day for the rest of the week?
Here's how
1) Complete the Test of Strength quest (250 Grisly Trophies) for 10 Tickets
2) Complete all of the Profession quests for a total of 20 Tickets
3) Turn in all of the artifacts (Buy them on AH if you can't farm them before next Faire) for a total of 80 Tickets
4) Complete the 5 Daily quests for a total of 5 Tickets
This is all obvious. At the end of the first day, by doing the normal quests you should have 115 Tickets.
Now, Sites like Icy Veins get their 145 Tickets total from 6 more days of the Dailies at 5 Tickets per day. My fifth step changes all of that.
5) Complete the Daily quests with 10 more characters on your server but DO NOT OPEN THE REWARD BOXES.
6) Mail them to the character with 115 Tickets (That's right. Mail them. They're NOT SOULBOUND.)
7) Open the boxes and enjoy 50 Tickets bringing you to a total of 165 Tickets on the first day.
8) Repeat Steps 5-7 for 6 more days. Don't forget the dailies on the one you're mailing them to!
9) Enjoy 330 Tickets extra.
That's a total of 495 Tickets per Darkmoon Faire.
I'd say that's a little bit more than the 145 Tickets that sites like Icy Veins claim in their guides.
I hope you guys enjoy this guide,as much as I enjoyed this discovery. I've completely pimped out alts with every single PvE heirloom that would normally cost 2075+ JP, and now YOU CAN TOO!

Reason: Math was wrong. It's only 11 toons/realm not 12.

Good idea, but if you are after the heirlooms only, you can try doing the Argent Tournament dailes for the same purpose, and they are not only a week per month, or you can simply do the 1 to 3rd step on every alt, and simply obtain heirlooms with it, and use the Reward Boxes to fill the currency for the next heirloom, and send the extra Boxes to character (main/alt, any which need tickets) after.
Btw, I doubt you can have a Main + 11 alts in the very same wow account on same server, indeed. Due to the 11 characters per realm of course!
But anyway I admire your workaround, and people with more than one wow account per battlenet could try similar tactic. +Rep.

You're absolutely right. It is 11. One for each class. For some reason I was thinking it was 12 classes. I'll adjust the math when I get home.
As for what to spend those tickets on, heck... you can buy the replica gear. That stuff sells really nicely on most realms from what I hear. Haven't tried yet.

This could more than likely be expanded by another 11 characters if you are on a merged realm.

Or if you have multiple accounts on the same realm for that matter. It's really up to you guys how far you take it, I just noticed that no one had put it out there that the reward boxes can be traded/mailed. I got my whole guild together last DMF and got a newbie that was really nice to everyone and tried really hard a full set of heirlooms for each class. We all did the dailies on all of our toons and gave her the boxes, then I took her to redridge (alliance side) and plowed her through the quest objectives for guild rep and paid for her head/cloak/pants for each set.

you can also get unlimited tickets each day by making a new char, getting the boxes, sending them, and then deleting the character, sorry to say you didn't discover this

I never said I discovered it. There wasn't a guide for this in the guides section, so I posted it. There are people who obviously didn't know about it.

Where do you buy the artifacts because I really don't feel like going to doing arch for them.
Edit: Nvm found out the artifacts you were talking about. Thought you meant the archaeology ones.

I'll be farming all the mounts this week haha. If you can just make a character, do the dailies. And mail the boxes. This'll be cake.
