He did know what he was talking about, i don't think you understood what he said.
First, he was saying that if you have any friends, you can just party with them instead on making a new account
Secondly, he was referring to the fact that Blizzard is making these virtual realms, "merging" realms together which will increase the population on low-pop realms, making rare farming harder.

Estimated time would be nice for each zone or for the entire thing, questing already go insanely fast so before epic mount im not sure if its worth it, and after epic mount you have to kill even more, so once again, are we talking 5 hours for 60? or 20? Afaik rare kills still only grant you 3 bars or so once you reach 30ish.

Also to complete your guide and speed up the process greatly, add this in

Make dks instead of level 1s, they start in a rested exp zone

Make 3 macros,
1 for inviting your toon you level, have it on real id and just have the macro say /inv name-realm
2 for leaving group
3 for logout

you cant have second and third in 1 macro since it sometimes wouldnt execute the second part, and you would still be in group.

I have alittle experience from doing this farming http://www.wowhead.com/npc=626 since he had a nice pair of gloves for my druid, but still didnt seem to be worth it for leveling imo

Now as soon as you accept the invitation you will be invited over to Cross realm on your "Low Populated realm" (one of those above as mentioned).
I tried this and after I invite with my level 1, he gets ported into the level 90's realm and not the other way... what am I doing wrong?

You should invite your level 90 from the level 1 account.

I wonder if you even did this yourself, because this isn't how cross realm works. There was a poster above that said it right though, you need to do it on a dk because you'll be cross-realmed to the highest lvl in the group - a lvl 1 won't work.

Didn't work for me either so I tried it with a death knight instead and voila.

It does work with a dk, I think it does because its a level 55 inviting a lower level.

i guess a faster method is: get a lvl25 pet + a lvl90 friend with 2 seater mount + PQR. Go to pandaria and petfight 1-90 its 4-5 days (played time) to 90

It is a western plaguelands quest you get the farmer army from but they will follow you into the eastern plaguelands and kill anything pretty much anything instantly even without looms.

Funny how he gets hostile when people ask for a time amount (number wise) and tells them they didn't read the thread. "insanely fast" is completely subjective.
