Leveling from 85 to 90 on Timeless Isle - 10-25M xp per hour - solo

I got my ass to the island now, and It takes about 3-4 mins or less to clear the worms, but they seem to have like 7 min spawn timer, and I can't really farm the birds with 404ilvl Frost mage, 87 lvl. Am I doing something wrong ?

no, i leveld my hunter in there too and couldnt to the birds. I guess only Tanks can kill them too

Just stick to the Worms and maybe get friend who invites you on a second server to farm both.

I find it very difficult, but possible, to do this as an 85/86 warrior.

The neutral birds aren't that hard to kill on my 87 fire mage. 402 ilvl.
It's just a matter of nuking one as fast as possible while keeping the rest under control with Frost Nova/Cone of Cold/Dragon's Breath, and kiting them in the meanwhile.

I got my mage to 90 there today. around 88-89 I started to manage killing the birds, and the last lvl was actually faster than 87 or 88.

As a destro warlock I found this amazingly EZ to do. I parked him there and I log 2 times per hour, kill them and log out.

Easy to do with a lvl 87 brewmaster, I kill both the silkworms and the birds => no downtime

Get a level 90 friend with a 2person mount to fly you there, (Mage portals you to vale) and then you fly from vale,

Did this really easily as an arms warrior from 87-90. Each worm pack was a joke, with disrupting shout and 2x spell reflects. Charge in and shout, followed by either bladestorm or thunderclap/whirlwind spam. Spam victory rush on everything to keep yourself topped. Once I managed to get a few isle buffs I could pull 2-3 sets of birds and reckstorm them down pretty easily.

Had a couple of deaths at 87 from pulling too much, and a few times I accidentally pulled some extra mobs from the village.

I did get suspended last night for exploits and hacks which may or may not be related to this. I did 89-90 yesterday morning before I logged. Waiting on the appeal now.

This isn't an exploit in any way and I will bet you this will never be "fixed", so your leveling here isn't the reason you got zapped.

Again, Blizzard encourages quicker leveling by supplying things like heirlooms, raf promotions, elixir of ancient knowledge, and buffs that last 10 minutes that coincidentally do enough damage to one shot the very same worms, birds, and turtles we've been killing here. There is a new xpac on the way so....they want you to have an account that can jump in.

They also nerf the light out of any easy viable ways to level fast. They did it with monkey runs, They did it with cagemasters, They did it with the despair shas in krasarang and They have nerfed absolutely every other known alternative up until now. They might be cool with people leveling faster now when we're closing in on the end of the expansion, but that is in no way a given. I'm actually surprised this still works.

Oh, and just because I forgot it, they have nerfed pet battle xp gain at least 2 times, first at launch which was fair enough as it was ridiculous, and then later when they put a timer on getting xp in random pvp pet battles.

Ok, i found this to be a joke as a Elemental shaman. At lvl85 I was pulling one pack and kiting after they get close, and now at lvl86 i can pull 2 without any problem. So now i need to see if this is possible as Pala, Warrior and Mage, I guess fire mage shouldnt have an issue here or perhaps frost but I will see.
