I just got the mount after farming the eggs for a few hours... 500 chocolates for a shaved ugly bird... thanks Blizz for trolling us. -.-

Anyways, all the starting zones in Blackrock are covered with people (especially with CRZ), so it's a long, rough, boring farming session to get to 500, now I need 100 more for Achievement.

EDIT: And to contribute; find an egg, and camp it, as each egg respawns after 10-20 seconds. Always.

This guide is ideal for mages specifically but will cover any classes with skills similar to blink on roughly the same cool down. This guide will work for ALL classes but will be slower for those without previously mentioned or similar abilities.

The two nearest red circles are your priority however the third on the most left hand side comes into play when your ability is off of cool down. I found that as a mage I could loot the nearest 2 about 2 times each and then have my blink off of cooldown to reach the third and get back before any of the nearest two respawn.
On odd occasions you will get people looting the furthest away one before you can get to it as they are blindly running around in a big circle, my advice for this is zoom out to a comfortable view where you can predict incoming people and move/loot accordingly.

AFK EGG FARMING

For doing these you just need a program able to spam keys or a keyboard with the option to make macros.

1º get a program able to spam keys, i use my razer naga mouse but just google for a key spammer.
2º make these macro /use Brightly Colored Egg and bind it to a key.
3º enable autoloot.
4º make the program spam the macro and right click.
5º go to an egg location like these one and put youre mouse over it. View image: Wo WScrn Shot 040213 140106
6ºstart the key spammer.

Now youll pick and oppen eggs automatically.

Horde egg farming spot in Falconwing square [47,5 45,3]

This location has 6 eggs that you can click without moving.

• 1.Left side behind the fence
• 2.Close left wheel
• 3.Far left wheel
• 4.Close right wheel
• 5.Far right wheel
• 6.In the cart behind a box

Extremely fast farming location I got 250 eggs within 20 - 30 minutes although I wasn't actually timing how long I was there. Also, when I started I was only farming 3 of the 6 eggs so it would presumably go even faster if you start with all 6 =]

You have to set your camera like this otherwise it is difficult to see the egg on the cart as well as the one on the far left wheel at the same time.

There is a place in Azuremyst Isle called Azure Watch... At the fountain there are nine eggs that spawn in close proximity... If you climb up on the top of the fountain you can reach eight out of the nine without having to move at all... I got 6 mounts in just a few hours... I get like 25 eggs in 3 minutes...
