[Gold] Portal Roulette (Mage) 12K / HR

Greetings OC! A buddy and I came up with a cool/fun way to make some gold in your major cities. We got the idea from being completely bored and being big fans of having casino alts to make some extra gold but also have some fun. This is what you do:

This requires being a mage and being bored of farming gold the traditional ways. What I did was I stood on the balcony of the Shrine of Seven Stars near where the portal brings you and advertised in /yell about my Portal Roulette. (Macros I used will be included at the end) Basically the game is that the mage puts down 4 portals on top of each other one being the Shrine of Seven Stars. This will create a very cool looking orb for the player and if they hover their mouse over the orb to see which portal to take it will spaz out between all four cities names. You let the player bet before clicking the portal and if the one they end up clicking is the Shrine of Seven Stars and it brings them back to you, you double their gold. It is basically the same concept as asking them to roll but it has a little more excitement to it and adds a little bit more fun in my opinion. I ended up becoming a pretty big hit for about an hour and made around 12k gold. BTW for you math nuts its pretty simple. There is a 1/4 (25%) chance for them to win and a 3/4 (75%) chance for you to win

Macro 1: /y Play Portal Roulette Today! This is how it works: Trade me your bet (example 100g). When I say ready click on my 4 portals. If you click the right portal and make it back to the Shrine of Seven Stars I will double your money! But beware if you don't return you lose it all! Good Luck!

Macro 2: /p Wait for me to summon all 4 portals before clicking

Macro 3: /p You can click now =)

Macro 4: /s You made it back!!!! Congratulations! Here is your winnings. Would you like to play again?

Macro 5: /p Sorry you lost =(. Come back anytime to play again!!

Some Things to remember:
1: Blizz does not fully support this type of stuff. I submitted a ticket about it before I did it and got this response. imgur: the simple image sharer
So what I try to do is be friendly, never spam, be professional, and of course NEVER SCAM!! Following all that I have ran many alt casinos and had lots of fun making gold doing so.

2: Try to only use macros. I feel people are more likely to play if you are not talking like a regular guy...that might just be my opinion but it seems to work.

3: Be nice to people, there are some real jerks out there who hate this stuff. Try to either slow down the advertisement to like once per 10 minutes or something when people are getting really mad at you. What I do is I slow down how often I do it but I change my /y to a /s in the advertisement macro.

4: Have fun. If you are having fun with it others will to.

We did this for fun when raids ended and unless fixed if you move your curser to the very edge of the portal blob you can target individual portals.

For extra fun, slip an Old Dalaran portal in there. Currently it dumps you out a lethal height above the ground. So you can tell which person in the raid is just that unlucky when their health bar craters instantly.

You can get the Old Dalaran teleport from the final room in Scarlet Halls, even the low level one. Then you go to Dalaran to the reagent vendor that sells the special Polymorph spells to buy Portal: Old Dalaran.
