How to make great money from fishing!

This is Truly server dependent to make money from fishing.

I make around 40 to 100k gold per 2 days at the moment botting 4 fishers
so post what you make!!

Step 1. Go fishing for your favorite fish. The best fish are
Giant Mantis Shrimp
Reef Octopus
Karasong paddle fish
Emperor Salmon

Step 2. After catching your fish, do NOT put them on the AH. For one it is easy for blizzard to see botters who post 100 stacks of each fish and watch your activity.

Step 3. If you have done any half hill market dailys ( which is required ) you know what bag of groceries are.
Go to the NPC Merchant Cheng Merchant Cheng - NPC - World of Warcraft and purchase the Empty containers for the fish you have. ( and other things too )


Step 4. Make the groceries and then go to Nam Ironpaw Nam Ironpaw - NPC - World of Warcraft and turn them in for Ironpaw tokens. It is best to get Autoquest 2 so you can just click to turn them in.

This gets you something like 1.98 gold per turn in.

Step 5. Go to the AH and see what sells for the most gold between these items
100 Year Soy Sauce 100 Year Soy Sauce - Item - World of Warcraft
Black Pepper Black Pepper - Item - World of Warcraft
Rice Flower Rice Flour - Item - World of Warcraft

Step 6. Go back to Nam Ironpaw and purchase all the item that sells the best on ah with your ironpaw tokens.

Step 7. Post the items on the ah with 10 gold undercuts, and enjoy the better money.


A lot of you may be thinking why do all that?

Well would you rather be logged selling 100 stacks of fish all the time and get around 40 to 60g per stack.
Or would you rather post small packs of ingredients for 100 to 200g per ingredient and not per stack .

It seems the Ironpaw shuffle is currently used by every second player. The AH on my server is flooded with 100 Year Soy Sauce, Black Pepper and Rice Flower for about 30g. Most of the fish can be sold for more than 80g per stack.

Of course it's server dependant. But you have to check the prices on your server. On my server you would lose about 50-70g per stack. Having 40 stacks would be more than 2k less. And you don't earn money by doing the turn-ins as you have to buy the bags for about 2g per bag.

Tried this out but it won't work for me.

A stack of fish is around 60g, Black Pepper and Rice Flour are 70g-90g but they don't sell very good. I rather sell the fish raw, just don't put 100 stacks at one time in.

I know this is very server dependant so thanks for this guide man

are worth turning into groceries on my server the rest sell way more as just raw in stacks of 20. Nice guide though!
