with the method below, you can backup your addons & settings for free. Also, you'll have the same settings on every computer without copying it manually.

the way i'm keeping a backup is a USB with interface,wtf (uploaded online if i ever lose the USB) and extern hard drive with my whole wow

but +rep cos for some people this is usefull

Sure you can do that manually but you'd need to copy & paste the whole folder everytime you wanna play on another computer... :P
