Yeah, there's even a guide about it somewhere on mmowned ironically. The kiting strat is long and tedious which leads back to my comment that the anti-solo mechanics are hard to do.

It really can't. This coming from someone with a 90 dk, rogue, paladin, and mage. The boss isn't an issue, its the adds that stun lock you for literally minutes on end. There currently is a strategy that allows you to kite the adds back, but it takes forever. Even to this day its a pain to do!

I've soloed this on Mage, Warrior, Priest, Shaman and Lock. It's not a problem if you stand behind the statue or actually use the weapons that drop.

I think I've only seen the Onyxian drake twice ! But it was in the BAH a few weeks ago... too bad I didn't have the gold to bid for it

Ashes most badass mount? Seriously? I play on a mid pop server and I see a lot of Ashes all the time... with how easy it is to farm it's not nearly as rare anymore.

I'm reasonably sure they also upped the Onyxian Drake's drop rate, seen a boom of those lately. Makes me feel not so special since I've had mine since WotLK.
