Question; Low level gold?

Hey guys!

I'm gonna start playing on a new, high populated server, and i do not have the IRL money to move a character (or at least i don't want to spend it), so i'm leveling a character from level 1. Problem is, that that char will be a rogue, and in their current state i'm scared of leveling one without hierlooms, so i decided i'd create a level 1 for AH playing and earn some gold, however i can't even beg myself to 20 gold so i gave up on that.

do you know any good ways to make gold while leveling or at low levels, so i can do that before going for the hardcore rogue leveling?


also, i still can't send hierlooms cross-server, right?

No you cant send herilooms cross server but a nice way to make some gold, not alot just a little mind you is offering to do guild sigs for money. On a medium - high pop server they are in high demand

Found one and signed it for 50 gold, will keep trying whenever i've got deserter.

i don't want to pay for changing servers, then obviously i won't pay for buying gold either.

The OP said he doesn't have IRL money to transfer character so obviously buying gold is not an option. I would suggest reading up in The Consortium forum on ways to make gold at level 1 toon. There should be some good guides there.

Pick up the two gathering professions, herbalism and mining. Low level herbs and ores sell for huge amounts on most high pop servers.
Remember to pick them up and start leveling them directly or you will do like most other people, have them at level 15 when you are 35 - making them totally useless.
Atm a stack of Copper Ore (20) sells for an average of 31g, and Peacebloom/Silverleaf for the same, as these are really everywhere.
Check Wowhead.com if you want to see where most nodes spawn, it is very useful.

What about pets? Check the AH price of less common cageable pets on both servers. You can get a good pet cheap on your old server, learn it, log to your new toon, cage the pet, and sell it.

Pets are true cross-realm and characters unlike BOA.

You should definately just get mining, and start mining.
The low-end ores are one hell of a gold digger on certain realms.

and well, didn't have to buy any pets, because i already have about 120 unique ones, such as disgusting oozeling - it sold well
