Sell Alchemy Leveling Kits For Profit!

Thought I would share this guide... it has helped me make a bit of gold

Profession leveling kit is basically a bundle of items that you're going to sell. This bundle is large enough to take anyone from 1 to 600 in any but gathering professions. To create a bundle, you'll have to either harvest materials with a gathering profession, or if they're not too expensive, buy them from the auction house instead. If you gather them yourself, there's a lot more gold to be made as there will be no costs for you, except the small mail fees.

To make it easy for you to create these kits, I will include the full list of items one needs to get 600 skill points in any crafting profession. There will even be some excess items remaining so people will be more thankful and not sue you because the kit didn't contain enough items.

Once you've obtained all of the listed items, it's time to make a macro that will attract buyers. Some people go even further and advertise their profession leveling kits in the official realm forums. For me, trade chat with a sneaky macro has always been enough.

it's recommended that you have
herbalism profession at hand.
Pricing will be harder though, as every realm has different prices for each of the items contained in the profession kit. It's recommended that you count how much the items cost if you sold them in the auction house, and add an extra 25-75% to the price. Personally I usually sell each of my kits for 8-20k, which gives me 3-12k profit most of the time, as I buy all the items from the auction house.

As for delivery, the kit is a bit bigger than any would imagine. It's best to deliver it via mail, starting from the high end items and progressing down to the starter items so the buyer will see the low level items first and can then snatch them easily without filling their bags with items they don't yet need.

Usually only rich people resort to this service, and if all goes well and the buyer is happy with your service, they usually ask for an another kit for some other profession, or even ask you to send kits to their alts.

I just did a little calculation and found out for alchemy, based on your numbers, you need 93 free slots.

How much should one ask for this complete package (if we're speaking about alchy)? 20k?

What I do when I sell things like this is just use my guild bank. I'll give them full access to tab 1, which contains all the mats needed, and then go do whatever while they level up.
And I usually sell for 10-15k, but it's a dying server (at least Alliance side) so not a lot of buyers.

There is one SELLING LEVELING KITS (Huge Gold farm (Botable / AFKable). 120 000Gold / week. No buys, 100% profit).

I made one kit and tried to sell it for two weeks.
In my server [Outland EU] it just wasn't possible.
Before using it for myself, I even tried selling it for 5k (!!!!! - was sick of trying) but even that low price didn't work.
That is for Outland EU Horde side.
Just a heads up, have patience if you decide to try selling, might take a while to achieve a good price.

Profession leveling kits have been a good seller since BC at least. But in all these years profits have always been server dependant. And you need to find somebody lazy enough to pay this amount of gold for something that he can buy himself of the AH for about 25% of your price.

When I prepared for MOP and my reroll to monk, I bought leveling kits for leatherworking and inscription to get to 525. It cost me a total of about 7k gold.

There is a lot of gold that can be made doing this, but it is not guaranteed.
