[Gold] Fishing Deviate Fish, oldie but goodie

I'm sure this might have been posted before but I'd just like to remind everyone in case you've forgotten about it. With all the new stuff in MOP a lot of people have gone away from farming for specific vanity items. Take for instance Deviate Fish - Item - World of Warcraft. My server is sort of dead when it comes to specific items or old school stuff in AH. Its either not there or super expensive so this gives me the opportunity to own a certain part of the AH. In this case I go with Savory Deviate Delight - Spell - World of Warcraft. This consumable item turns you into either a Pirate or Ninja for 1 hour. With the new expansion and everyone rolling monk classes for either a new main or ALT you look really awesome doing monk abilities in ninja form which means people will want this item even more . I'll list the steps on how to profit from this.

Steps to GOLD!

Step 1: You need at least 50 fishing recommended 120+. Go to Wailing Caverns (in kalimdor northern barrens) the best fishing spot with no mobs is by the last boss (save the sleeping druid and the murloc spawns).

Step 2: You also need at least 85 cooking skill in order to create Savory Deviate Delight - Spell - World of Warcraft . The recipe is a world drop in the barrens I believe but with how frequently it drops nowadays it will probably be in your AH for 50-100g. If its more than that just farm it yourself and save gold .

Step 3: Now depending on competition you have a good chance of controlling the market with the help of MrFishit(check bot section) fishing bot. In 2 hours I got 135 deviate fish. Which means this is about a 27-30% chance of getting while fishing.

Step 4: Once you've fished up enough deviates go ahead and make them into Savory Deviate Delight via cooking recipe. Now is the point where people just list it and forget it however I would recommend the following options if there is little or no competition in AH.

BEFORE PUTTING IN AH! - Make sure to create a trade chat macro that says something like "Savory Deviate Delight now in AH, get ready to become a ninja or pirate and look awesome!". This entices people that wouldn't have searched for it otherwise to possibly want to buy it. List in stacks of either 10 or 20 only.

If little competition: If your server has very little up in the AH I would recommend to buy them all out unless their insanely high price and make your own base price for this item. Park a level 1 bank alt by the AH so that whenever someone tries to undercut you immediately buy them out it will cost you some money but you'll make more back in the end this way.

if NO competition: Pick a fair but profitable price. A starting price of 100-200g per stack is fair considering the time invested to catch it and make them.

After that just control this market and you should get pretty good gold. This is very possible for a lowbie as well. I've made about 1000-2000g within a few days of selling these and it required little work on my end.

Of course not everyone will be interested in these and your server might have high competition so it all has its variables. This works for me so I thought it should be shared for people that don't know or have forgotten! The monk glyph of jab + ninja costume = awesome so people will be interested to buy

You could also make them into Elixir of Giant Growth - Spell - World of Warcraft as it only requires 90 alchemy. Been selling them for 90-120g in stacks of 5.

I started yesterday again with deviate fishing, just fished two stacks and sold them for 350g/each, now there's a bit more competition but I think I'll go for this fish because MoP-Fishes are so unstable atm.
