CRZ-surf for Minfernals and more, "easy" DIY method.

Hiya

Yesterday I managed to nab an Minfernal using basic common sense, but its still useful for people like me who haven't got any off-realm real-id friends.

Requirements for getting an Minfernal this way is (other areas require more or less of point no:2)

1. 2 active accounts, Im RaFing atm and its only 5$/€ to get one atm. This can be on the same real-id or not, it doesent matter.
2. One toon below 55 but not too low (lvl 40+) to get instagibbed by mobs.
3. Ability to create DKs on the other account that doesen't hold the 40+ toon.
4. Ofc pets so you can battle and win an Minfernal.

The method in short:

1. Get your lvl 40+ alt to Felwood and the Minfernal spawnspot.
2. Login on the other account and create DKs on lowpop realms and especially lowpop "CRZ groups".
3. On the DK after the cinematic, invite your 40+ toon and since the DK is highest lvl the 40+ will be transported to the low-pop CRZ-group.
4. Found no Minfernal/whatever then just disband group. Logout the DK and make another DK on another server and repeat from point no:3.

You are now CRZ-surfing in a controlled, systematic matter all by yourself. Took me 2 EU-realms before I found Minfernals still up at peak-time.

This method ofc works for anything spawnrelated, but since the Minfernals are in a sweetspot in the levelrange below DKs its nicely applied here.

How to invite if using the same real-id: /inv tooname-servername
That didnt use to work if you werent on the same friendslist but has been fixed so now it does

Good point! I have used similar method since weeks for farming rares.

I tried to CRZ-deny while on a flightpath to hopefully stay on the FP world server. This due to the FP world server have only flying people on them so the rares are always untouched (see minimap when flying over them).

Sadly it doesent work as you are automatically disconnected from FP world server when you land and get into a limbo state where you see no mobs at all.

So the above method is the best I could come up with.

lmao, after seeing your thought about Aeonaxx, I helped my friend get his Camel Hoarder/TLPD back to back.., no luck on Aeonaxx though

Im glad it helped someone, you are very correct in that this works for Aeonaxx and others but it needs to have one participant below level 55 to utilize the "create DK" method of surfing

But for Aeonaxx you could park an lowlevel in Deepholm and just wait a while for a possible spawned drake to fly by, the switch servers with DK if it doesent.

Key is finding low populated CRZ groups, Id recommend RP clusters tbh.
