Make gold with upcoming Brawler's Guild

In the upcoming 5.1 patch, the Brawler's guild will be introduced. To enter it you will need to have an invitation, which can only be purchased on the BMAH, and there will be about 10 up at a time as it is on the PTR.

BUT, someone already in the Brawler's Guild can invite other person(s) (I don't know how many he/she can invite, but I assume it will be limited).

During the launch of the patch, I expect it to be a very high demand to get into the Brawler's Guild.

So, if you are able to buy entry into the Brawler's Guild early, I'm certain you can make a lot of gold by:

/2 WTS invite into the Brawler's Guild!

Specially if you are one of the first 10 persons who gains entry.

What also needs to be mentioned is that each of the people you invite can instantly invite 10 more people.

It won't be as much as you think - think 10 to the fifth power and then you'll see the big picture.

For those bad at math - Five cycles down you'll be at 100,000 people.

As a FINAL edit - The BMAH invites will be going for ridic prices at the start, people will THINK they can make a ton of gold; but all it takes is one person with a friendly nature to invite alt accounts and then BAM the whole server has it.

AKA - DON'T DO IT! ITS A TRAP!

If you are going to sell make sure you stack invites up and don't invite until you are satisfied with all the $/invites.

how does one get it to put it on the BMAH?
or is it put there by the server?

Its put there by the server - but that's the thing! Anyone ELSE you invite can immediately undercut you and charge less; and then they all can too. Don't fall prey to the allure of spending TONS of gold for the first 10 invites!

Are you actually sure that is how it's working?
Because I can't imagine Blizzard putting up 10 of the Invites and then just let everyone invite freely.
The whole point of selling them through the BMAH is that there won't be much invites the first week(s).
I bet that only the people who got one through the BMAH will be able to invite 10 people. So there will be max. 110 people in there for some time.
Would make much much more sense.
And if that would be true you could make some money.

(If you really have a lot of money, like 10mil+, you might even try to buy all of them and try for realm first. :P)

The only way I can see to make a solid amount of gold with this would be to advertise selling the invite, form a raid group, and then when the raid group is full have everyone give you the gold and you give them the invite.

There is a lot of trust involved in that though.

But yes, if you're not one of the first 10 your chances of making gold at this is seriously limited.

    Stupid gating method anyway.

Quote from Patch Notes. Unless they change how it is set up.

"Entry into the brawler’s guild is by invitation only. Invitations can be found on the black market auction house or by invitation from somebody within the guild."

    Not 110 people, 100,000 people.

What I am curious about is the level requirement for it. I am pretty good at soloing shit on my OP level 82 DK with MoP gear. I wonder if I could join with him and be in the level 80 bracket or something and just rape face.

Blizz explicitly stated that they chose the way through the BMAH to limit the amount of people in the guild. I really don't think that they will allow the first 10 (or whatever) people to immediately invite more people. There will be some kind of gating. Maybe you need to be Honored with the guild to invite other people. There can only be 1 fight at a time. Having 5k members on day one will totally blow the concept.

And you can believe me that you're guildmates (if you have any) will be really pissed if you sell invites to total strangers, especially if invites are limited.

    Blue Post on this...
While that's something we're going to be keeping an eye on, it will be quite difficult to monopolize the invitations. The current plan is to furnish 10 new Bind on Pickup invites on the Black Market Auction House each day, so anyone trying to control all the invitations on a realm would have to have quite a fortune, and be willing to spend it all on nothing more than simply delaying, not stopping, other players from joining the Guild. Also, after players earn an invitation of their own to give out (these earned invites aren't bound, they're consumables that can be freely handed out, sold on the Auction House, etc.), they can do with that earned invite as they please.
Right now, a member can invite someone else to the Brawler's Guild after earning Rank 7. We expect achieving that rank to be reasonably challenging for most players
