Cooking 1-525 (The fast and easy way

No level is required to do this at all. The second you learn cooking, you can be summoned out there and get to cooking up to 525. Thanks to Unholynacho for that.

This is the fastest, and most efficient way to get your cooking up to level 525. I am unsure of the actual level requirements for this, but I just did it at level 81. Heard of a level 54 doing this as well, so if someone wants to test it on a lower level, feel free.

Have a friend port you to Pandaria (or summon to Halfhill Market which is what I did) and head to Halfhill Market located in Valley of the Four Winds. Find and talk to Sungshin Ironpaw. There are other places to do this as well (Jojo for alliance and Stephen Wong for horde in Vale of Eternal Blossom) but I did not use them because they do not sell ingredients AND train the recipes. Before you head to Valley of the Four Winds, head to the AH and pick up some Golden Carp (42 needed) and Wildfowl Breast (2 needed). Golden Carp has a high fish rate in the waters of Pandaria (if prices are high on your server) and Wildfowl Breast can be looted from birds in Pandaria. That is what I did. I have MoP items on my 81 dk, so I just raped a few cranes and went on my way.

After you have your carp and breasts, get heading to Halfhill Market. Talk to Sungshin Ironpaw and learn the following

1-31 Sliced Peaches (6 peaches needed)
31-61 Perfectly Cooked Instant Noodles (6 instant noodles needed)
61-91 Toasted Fish Jerky (6 golden carp needed)
91-121 Dried Needle Musrooms (6 needle mushrooms needed)
121-151 Pounded Rice Cake (6 Rice needed)
151-181 Yak Cheese Curds (6 yak milk needed)
181-211 Dried Peaches (6 peaches needed)
211-241 Boilded Silkworm Pupa (6 silkworms needed)
241-271 Roasted Barley Tea (6 barley needed)
271-301 Golden Carp Consomme (12 carp needed)
301-331 Fish Cake (12 carp needed)
331-361 Blanched Needle Mushrooms (12 mushrooms needed)
361-391 Red Bean Bun (6 red beans needed)
391-421 Skewered Peanut Chicken (6 farm chicken needed)
421-451 Green Curry Fish (12 carp and 6 rice needed)
451-481 Peach Pie (12 peaches needed)
481-496 Tangy Yogurt (3 peaches and 3 yak milk needed)
496-511 Pearl Milk Tea (6 milk needed)
511-521 Wildfowl Ginseng Soup (2 ginseng and 2 breast needed)
521-525 Rice Pudding (1 rice and 1 yak milk)

    Full list of needed ingredients
    27 Peaches
    6 Instant Noodles
    42 Golden Carp
    18 Needles Mushrooms
    13 Rice
16 Yak Milk (that just sounds really gross)
    6 Silkworms
    6 Barley
    6 Red Beans
    6 Farm Chicken
    2 Ginseng
    2 Wildfowl Breast

Rice pudding will actually take you to 526, but I am not yet 85 and can not learn higher than what I am at right now.

Small tip, be sure to remember to learn the next level of cooking while doing this. I made the mistake of forgetting to on a couple of recipes and had to do them again.

I can't take credit for this guide. I was pointed to the trainer by my friend Tana. She did it at level 54 on her mage, so I did it on my Dk.

EDIT: This cost me about 200g because of buying the Golden Carp. But if you fish it up, you will maybe spend 50g total for the mats from Sungshin Ironpaw

You did it on a level 48? Going to edit my original post and change the lowest level I know it works with. Thanks!

You do not need to be level 48 either, you can do this as soon as you learn cooking (lvl 5) i think

Great guide but the last part needs to be corrected:

481-496 Tangy Yogurt (3 peaches and 3 yak milk needed)
496-511 Pearl Milk Tea (6 yak milk)
511-521 Wildfowl Ginseng Soup (2 ginseng and 2 breast needed)
521-525/530 Rice Pudding (2 rice and 2 yak milk)

The quest for 600 cooking requires you to create 5 Rice Pudding which means you'll always end up at 525, then you can create 1 more after the quest to get to 530.

So far, from 530 to 552 I created Ginseng Tea - it's only 1 skill per craft but Ginseng is pretty cheap from the vendor. I haven't done any more yet so I can't say what to do next.

At the time of this guide, I was only going up to 525 because the trainer would not train me in the next level. I am going to keep the guide as is because of the title. Thank you for the correction. It has been edited.
