(Jewelcrafting) Making gold crafting panther mounts

Before you continue reading - this is server dependent. Check your auction house prices, and see if this will work for you. This is more or less a "common sense" guide.

This guide will show you how to make profit (5k+ depending on server, etc), crafting & selling the panther mounts.

Requirements:
-600 JC
-Minimum honored reputation with Order of the Cloud Serpent (See http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...ent-mount.html (Exalted with "Order of the Cloudserpent" in 1-2 hours - Get Serpent Mount). Honored takes 15 minutes to achieve.)
-600 Alchemy (BONUS. Helps maximize profits. NOT required)

Check AH prices of the required materials & how much the panthers are selling for. The Orb of Mystery required is a flat 20,000 gold from a vendor. If you're in a level 24+ guild, it's reduced to 18,000. (Note; this does NOT stack with the goblin racial).

Looking at this, we can tell that;
20 gems: 2400g
4 Living Steel: 3800g
2 Serpent's Eyes: 50g
1 Orb of Mystery: 18,000g
For a grand total of: 24250

The panthers go for about 34,000 gold. Resulting in a profit of about 10,000.

Maximizing profit with Alchemy:

Use your Transmute: Living Steel. You'll spend about 600 gold per this way. If you're lucky, you can even get a double proc.

Be warned, depending on your server this may not be quite as profitable. If it's a lower population server, it WILL take quite some time for the mount to sell. Best of luck!

I wish I could do this, but I'm not even Honored with the Cloud Serpent yet, and that guide with the Onyx Eggs honestly doesn't work for me as I can't even find one egg.

To bad the mounts go for about 25K on my server -.- so there isn't any profit to be made. Thanks for the guide tho, it does still work on other servers.

BTW on your next post you might want to upload your images to a hosting site like imageshack or imgur.com , that way everyone can see them instantly :-)
