Revered with CE with no Steamvaults

Forgive me if this has been posted before, or if you consider it common knowledge, but I just wanted to bring it to the attention of anybody leveling an alt or something who might want to know.

It's possible to hit revered with Cenarion Expedition without ever stepping foot inside steamvaults.


To start, do NOT do the CE quests in hellfire before you go to zangarmarsh.


The first thing to do is to go to the AH or farm 360 (330 for humans, thank you someone on wowhead) Unidentified Plant Parts. They drop off every mob in Zangarmarsh, but they're also pretty cheap whenever I see them on the auction house.

These are turned in 10 at a time for 250 CE rep, all the way until honored. turning them all in will give you the 9000 rep needed go to neutral - honored.

NOW go back and do the CE quests in Hellfire. They're worth ~3.25k rep. Then do every quest in zangarmarsh. Also, do the quests in BEM at Ruaan Weald. This should put you at revered with CE.

"1.) Buy/Farm 360 plant parts (9k rep) and turn them all in.
2.) After you hit honored turn in any of the bonus plants you might have gotten as a reward. They are about a 10% drop rate.
3.) Do every quest for the CE. Zones include Zangarmarsh (includes the 5 mans), Hellfire Peninsula, Blade's Edge, Terrakor Forest, and Netherstorm. This should put you into Revered.
4.) Run Steamvaults and turn in any Coilfang Armaments that you find."

Thanks for the post. I'm about to get my second toon into outlands and I don't want to screw it up with him like I did with my first 70.

Not only is this a great way to get to revered very quickly... But you can also send the edible fonds you get from handing the plants in back to your twink (if you own one). Thats +15 stam and spi to your twink, a whole bunch or rep iv very little time, and you can start heroics within the next hour or too. Running CE instead of this will take you forever. Nice short little guide =D

Yea, I did this, basically, I botted my pally to 63ish, did the spore guys quests, and aoe lvled on the naga that's used for the sporegar quest, got tons of plant parts and got good rep with spore and got that lvl 62 shield from them. Then did the zanger quests and all were easily soloable.
