Best spot for grinding Shards and Motes

First it tryed the stone guardians instant spawns about 20 hours but found 1 shard only and also its fixed so i searched something new and more efficient way to farm that shit..

well THIS spot is just godly. Stonebark Trickster - NPC - World of Warcraft

it took me around 15 hours to collect 9 shards, 2 world epics, around 600 motes ( converted into 300k+ gold) !

they are low life with 230k~ hp and you can make a good route if you start on the top of the hill ( where the 2 camps with 5-6 tricksters are ) and do one full circle, depends on your killspeed but in my situation i had zero downtime!

i don't know how many peoples are farming there in high pop realms, i did it on a low pop realm and was most of th time alone..

This was on wowhead. are they only up on a certain daily? I had gone there a few times but ever saw the tricksters

i had them everyday, i think that are regular mobs.. but i am not 100% sure

only luck its in the description @ wowhead first post... that he farmed there and fastets shard was 4h longest 24h i think.. so your 9 in 15 hrs only realy realy lucky

dont think its luck, the dropchance is higher than other mobs, its 0,2% that means every 500 mobs~ and they are so fast killable

a other guy that grinded on that spot on my realm found 3 shards + epic within 1 hour, that was luck yes

Cant find the tricksters. searched all the areas, there are none


EDIT: "EDIT: to see these mobs you need to do the Quest to stop the Elites from spawning from the Cave."

you only have to do the quest to close the cave after that they will always be there regardless of what dailys you have or atleast they have for me.

"Best" is probably a strong overstatement. sure its a nice spot but the adds are spaced out and have spawn timers.

theres adds with 0 respawn timer

areas where the packs run straight to you through a choke point and you just rollolololol

imo this is another spot, but doesn't appear any more spectacular than any other spot.
