Ok I finally got it. I had to do the quest to open gates to VOEB and then the first chain of the Lorewalkers quests to get neutral. This should do the trick for you.

I'm not gonna post it in elites. Why would I do the donators with 1 reputation and 5 post counts a favor and "hide" it from blizzard?

I posted this on the forum to contribute, not so donators can leech my post in elites.

I doubt that the instant quilen already got fixed. And knowing blizzard in the past when bug pops again they will be pretty fast fixing it as it's now embarassing to them that they managed to fail again. And you will read nothing about this bug in the hotfixes

You unlocked the dailies in that zone? And are the mobs visible to you? If yes then this cow should be there just use /tar Mottled Cow when you are at that place. There is just 1 cow there hiding. If you can't see the other mobs in that zone then you will not able to see the cow too. I am on EU and it's working fine for now.

Maybe you have the quest to kill the pillagers in the village? During those quests the cow is not there.

Well, its not hard to miss alot of shad-tien pillagers in the village. Don't know what the dailys are called, but during those there is no cow. And ofcourse if you haven't done any quests in Eternal Blossom you will not be able to see the cow either. So either of those is your problem, because the cow is chilling there.

A tip:
The cows despawn whether you have looted the corpse or not after exactly 5 minutes so use the in-game timer to farm for 5 minutes then loot and repeat.

For those of you that do not want to bot and don't mind the grey areas, I max range the cow and made a macro for my shadow priest and bound it to a binding.

Then I downloaded a program called Random Mouse Clicker which clicks at random intervals at random spots on the macro icon.

Now I just activate the in-game timer and activate the clicker and my priest will pull and kill mobs while maintaining hp and mana. After 5 minutes I loot the corpse and go afk for another 5.

Confirmed drop of a Skyshard drop from these mottled cows at 10/13 9:30 pm US.

3 hours 15mins of farm and i got:

2 skyshards
4 spirits of harmony
plenty of greens


This farmspot works for me coz i just smash 1-2 keys without paying to much attention - watching movies most of the time!
