Making money cross-realm selling Battle pets

Hey all
With the new Battle pet system implemented in MoP you're able to gain money on characters that are on realms where you don't have any gold.
The thing is that you can open your "Pet Journal" and certain of your pets you can right-click and press "Put in cage". I believe this option only works when the pet is recieved by either a quest or bought by a vendor or looted by a mob.
Anyhow you can put the pet in a cage, then it's a useable item that you can put on AH and sell for a certain amount of money. I'd say this is an easy way of getting some money on a new character or just the fact that you need some gold.
Feel free to give some feedback of what you think, even if it's bad for me.

Did not know about this, this is actually quite good, have a "Rare" captured battle pet on ah now, i'll report back with the results.

Done this myself, didn't grab me much money since I uncercut AH by alot and most of them doesn't even get bought, the only pain is that I threw away my baby blizzard bears I had on my alts Could've made TONS of cash from them since they aren't available anymore.

You can't put a baby blizzard bear into a cage and sell. So don't worry.

I was able to sell some random Rare mechanical squirrel that I captured in Feralas, it was lvl 10. I got 5k gold for it, probably because the mechanical pets are quite op.

That's good to hear, thanks for the confirmation. Threw it away 1month before the expansion and thought I had thrown away a couple of thousand gold:P

Btw, does anyone know what the actual requirements are for not being able to put a pet in a cage?
