Upon reading this about 2 days ago and finding the axe myself, i can safely say that this axe is quite a let down.
I have gathered about 300 stacks and only had 2 bleu quality gems and a handfull of green gems.
So if you think you miss out on masses amount of extra gems, dont worry becouse it quite low.

Aye, I noticed that as well Saronite. I'm seriously hoping they up the anti and buff this item.

Still, with the axe your gaining things you wouldn't gain before.
