Easyer mount farm for raid / PL

Hi,

All you need :
- Character 1 (the main)
- Character 2 (a reroll)
can be both on the same account.

So, let's me explain what you can do, this tricks will help you if you need for exemple like me a loot from ragnaros (old school) or Yogg-saron.


You need a reroll with for exemple an ID in front of yogg-saron (ID 16/17)

Groupe your reroll with your main on a raid group, give the raid lead to your reroll, get inside, tada enjoy your ID in front of the boss.
At this point this thread looks useless but keep in mind that your reroll will keep the ID all life long if you don't forget to 'extand timer' each weeks, si enjoy a 16/17 instance every weaks.

1 - Have a timer on a reroll in front of the boss you need (extand it if needed)
2 - Groupe both reroll & main
3 - Log your main, give the raid lead to you reroll
4 - Get inside with main
5 - Enjoy


Interesting Timer :

- Yogg-saron 25

- Molten core with gaar / geddon & domo available

- each raid you need for transmog or raid PL for ragnaros / DW mount...

MOLTEN CORE : You can't keep a timer with domo down, it looks like the timer will be considered as completely clean as soon as you get inside

have you done it? i tried it and it just say full save on each instance you enter after extend.

i do it each weak for my yogg-saron farm (mimiron's head)

what was your raid? Molten core seem to bug sometimes. and what ID did you use ?/?

i tried id of SSC, BoT,

though maybe it was a specific bug.

Answer for your question would be that the instance you're trying to join on a save already is an 'old' raid. I asked a GM and he told me that it's only the 'new' raids that you can use those lockouts like this. (Tried with BT) since it's old raidlockouts after the boss have been killed once (maybe even by the group you left after you got the save it cannot be done once more, meaning you'll have to start over on a new lockout if you want to do older raids than Naxxramas I think.
