How To: Make 50,000 - 250,000+ gold in a few hours!

Simplest method on making gold in World of Warcraft, ripping between possibly 50,000 gold to 150,000+ for a short period of time spent. Yeah farming and professions are good gold, they are secure steady SURE gold, however there is other methods in making gold in World of Warcraft without having requirements. Today I will share one with you.


What is this method? Auction Runs.

You will make your gold by running old school raids for transmog gear and having the items auctioned off. You can place auctions on all items however I just typically put auctions on the BIG TICKET item. The bonus to this is old school runs drop a nice chunk of gold per boss (til MoP!).


The best money maker I have found it Black Temple.

The Glaives drop from Illidan, as well as the Vision.

I've seen the Glaives go for as high as 250,000 gold believe it or not, the best part about this is we are gonna get 100% of the money from the auction. However it would be nice to get the Glaives or the Vision due to the drop rates & only being able to run BT once a week, the gold is always better then a cosmetic appearance unless you plan on selling your account of course.

Step #1: Hit trade chat. /2 Black Temple Run - No Reserves, Auction Style Transmog Run On Big Ticket Items (i.e: Glaives / Vision) all gold will be tallied at the end. Want that SUPER UNIQUE item to make you stand 100% out from the rest of the realm. PST FOR INVITE!

Step #2: Once you group is formed, clear your selected raid (Black Temple) up til your main objective (glaives, vision) & make sure master loot is on at this point.

Step #3: Kill your target, check for big ticket items. If they drop, proceed to auction them off to the higest bidder. Make sure you state once a big is made it can no longer be lowered down. When a big offer comes in, check if they have the gold on them before closing the auction out. Make sure to tell no one to leave in case high bidder doesnt pay.

Step #4: Collect your gold & proceed to tell the raid the TALLY of the gold, thank everyone for coming and end the raid. Blizzard clearly states that the raid leader sets loot options & none are preset. You simply said you would tally the gold at the end which is no more then informing everyone how much was made.

Step #5: Enjoy your HUGE lot of new gold for little effort.



The only down fall to this is, a BIG ticket item may not drop, this is why auctioning off cool looking transmog items through the raid is smart to make a minimum amount of gold, however it slows the run down.

Wait for reset, rinse & repeat. Don't worry about people bashing you in trade chat, you never said the gold would be split & the people with REAL big wow gold dont care about some random troll in trade chat. Everyone wants the glaives, and as long as you hand them over they will keep coming back.

Nothing new, only GDKP run, but i don't think you will get too much proffit, first because if someone really needs an item from old raids they can just take 2-3 friends and do it, at least i won't spend thousands of gold on an item i can get with some friends for free.

I attempted to sell runs, I hope your outcome is better than mine. What I offered people was extremely cheap, 1k gold for a clear and they get ANYTHING that drops that they want. Which means they would really only end up paying like 500 since the raid drops so much gold and they'll get half. But I did this just to test interest. No one bit, and I tried it multiple times. Their logic was always that they could make a group for free. They would even attempt to make a group there while I was fishing for people in Trade chat. Even though they never got enough people to go, they still wouldn't pay. It seemed like there was just a mental block that they just were not going to pay someone else for the gear. But put these tiers on a Vendor for a few thousand and you'd have people lining up at the door.
