I did this for about an hour. I think I got about 2 gold and a few crafted items. For me it wasn't about the gold or the items, it was just my way of fcking with other people.

I got more responses about, "How about I run you through such n such place instead." I would respond with something like, "How about you give me the gold that you'll end up wasting on repairs and save us both some time."

That's how I got the 2 gold.
