    Slacking in LFR 101

    Slacking in LFR 101

    Introduction

Hello. My name is Vaskebjørnen, and I’m here to teach you how to slack in your weekly Looking for Raid group. This is an extremely easy way, to get 500 Valor Points per week, and a chance to get some nice 384-390 gear.
What I will show you, is how to do nothing in any of the boss fights, and still look active. The only downside is the repairing bills you will get from dying.

    Morchok

I assume you already know the fights, while you’re reading this, so I won’t go deeply into any boss-mechanics. Morchok casts something called Black Blood of the Earth, which will deal damage to you, if you stand in it. Instead of running behind the rocks, to avoid this damage, stand still at Morchok, until you die. From now on, Alt+Tab and do something else, like lurk here on Ownedcore or stalk a girl on Facebook.
    Warlord Zon’Ozz

CURRENTLY WORKING ON A WAY TO DIE INSTANTLY HERE
    Yor’Sahj the Unsleeping

Every now and then Yor’Shaj summons 3 Oozes. You have to kill one of them, and let the other two reach Yor’Sahj. If a green ooze reaches Yor’Sahj, you should run out of the inner circle, and into the poison clouds that lies around the ‘battlezone’.
    Hagara the Stormbinder

Every now and then, Hagara forces you to kill 4 ice sculptures, before you can damage her again. Normally you run out, when she teleports to the middle of the platform, but you should just stand in there, since you will take enough damage to die, from her attempt to get you out in the outer circle of the platform.
    Ultraxxion

This is probably the easiest one to die on. You shouldn’t stack with the rest of the raid here, just stand behind them, and you will most likely get oneshotted.
    Warmaster Blackhorn

I have yet to figure out a way to die in the first phase here, since everybody moves to interrupt the drakes’ attacks. In the second phase though, the ship gets filled with large black pools of twilight gross, which you normally shouldn’t stand in, but you want to this time, since you want to die.
    Spine of Deathwing

    Jump off.
    Madness of Deathwing

As soon as the encounter starts, you should run to the back of the platform you’re standing on, and jump into the water. This will kill you, but still yield you the kill and the loot.

    Conclusion

You will die a total of 8 times each week, doing this, but as most guilds goes with free repair, this won’t hurt you in any way. You get more time to do what you like, since I’m sure nobody likes doing the LFR every week.

I will post pictures in a couple of days, showing what I described.
If you have any idea on how to die on Warlord Zon’ozz and Spine of Deathwing please post them here, and I will quote you in the thread, and +rep after having it confirmed!

It's a nice idea - but I'm afraid I'll get a full raid of slackers ...but, I suppose what can you expect from LFR.

Thanks to Mit0 for the sweet Sig!

You would probably realize when half of your raid dies on Morchok :>

The only bad thing about this is you can get kicked from LFR for being a "baddie"

You're not bad, since you just die. Just blame it on a DC or something similar. I assume that you will do your best the first 20-60 seconds of the fight, so you're not looking bad.

In what way? People will just remember you as the player who kept dying, if they even will remember you. I've managed to pull this off on my alt paladin for some weeks now, and I've never heard anything, nor got kicked.

Rep? What rep? You mean your server rep in a cross-realm raid dungeon?

Why do you think I don't like the cross-realm stuff... it sucks! It makes people troll, slack, and just in all, being a pain in the a**.
Exactly the same thing that happened with BGs: "OMG noobs stop zerging QQ", "Id*ots, you all s*ck!" or "WTF Do what I say you r*tards!".

People don't give a sh*t about rep in Cross-realm. Server rep was the ONE thing that made people behave nicely, and now its basically totally gone, except for with "real raiding".

So PLEASE, lets get more guides that can teach us to be bigger a**holes, slackers and selfish pr*cks. We need more of that, GOGO!

    Spine of Deathwing instant death

You can just jump out of the encounter "area" on his wings, this will cause you to die instantly, and this will also grant you and achievement if you dont allready have it

More often that not, I end up getting leader in LFR, maybe has something to do with my ilvl (402 equipped). People often respect the red text and if I see someone being stupid/leeching on purpose, I call them out on it and tell the raid to kick them, which almost always passes.
    KuRIoS is awesome!

Well as stated, I never recieved a votekick. And tbh, I'm sure you wouldn't even notice if someone died on several encounters.

@Warmaster: You can jump there too - or unequip some items and take solo a (small) purple void, should 1-shot you.

You're lucky. I lead my LFR on every unguilded alt every week. Fishing pole warriors, turtle hunters and jump-off rogues get called out.

Not exactly the most useful guide but +rep for something different and well-written.
    ....after I spread some around

    Thanks for the rep though!
