    Focus

Hey with the introduction of TBC there was introduced a nifty feature called focus. Focus is the abilty to "remember" a target without having it target.

One of thinks i use the focus for is when i have to keep sheeping a target while having to dps/target another mob.

    So here it is:

    /focus [target=focus, noexists] [target=focus, dead] [target=focus, help]
    /stopmacro [target=focus, noexists]
    /cast [target=focus] Polymorph

This macro will make your target focus and will start to in this case cast polymorph. Also when i push this button again it will be casting poly on the same target as i casted on first time.

This macro can be used for others spells aswell, by replacing the spell Polymorph with the spell you want.

Hope this could be usefull for some

    Re: Focus

Is there a way to tab between two creatures, like EQ and EQ2 had? I forget the exact name of it, but it sounds like this.

Basically its a previous target button.

    Re: Focus

you can either tab for the next target, or shift + tab for the previous target, holmedog.

    Re: Focus

Focus isn't a previous target function, it's a 2nd, invisible, target. Very handy

    Re: Focus

say in 3v3, I would set my focus to the healer, then with a macro i could fire a viper sting at my focus (the healer) at any time during the fight. Now i could switch through all of the targets whilst in this match which would make the 'target previous target' useless, if my previous target was not the healer.

Focus is awsome once you get used to the idea. You can use it to so much use in any situation.
