"Buy Gold" without risk of ban

Didn't see any posts of this topic anywhere, and I've been a leecher for some time now so I thought I would try to contribute.

Blizzard Store

This item is the Guardian Cub pet from the pet store. Costs 10 USD and it has a TRADE option. You CAN put it on the AH, but I wouldn't suggest it. It unbinds from you after 24 hrs after you receive it. DO NOT CLICK IT! ( just to be safe since I don't know if it matters or not). After 24 hrs has past it goes from soulbound to BoE. I just sold one for 20k. If you do the math... 10 bucks for a gold buyers website will get you around 5k gold... give or take. So you just quadrupled your gold intake. People go crazy over pets and this is no exception. I know this guide isn't for anyone, but if you want a safe way of getting a nice hunk of gold without buying it, then go for it. Of course it is server dependent.

There was a thread at the top of the guides section two hours before this was posted, please look next time. Also as someone said in the other thread, as soon as they announced a pet that is trade-able in game everybody already knew this would be an outcome.

1. You have never heard of anyone getting banned for JUST buying gold at this point in wow.
- Blizzard will lose money if they ban people and valueable customers.
- Maybe if the buyer recalled money and the sellers reported the gold as hacked.
2. I have never heard of anyone being banned for buying gold before since preWOTLK.
- Just the gold stripped from them.
3. I asked a buddy on vent who was a GM for a few years on live servers of course. He said the following.
- You have a better chance of getting banned for calling someone a poopy head. - His words.
- GMs have purchased gold many of times.
- He has only heard of bans from people who have bought gold, recalled money, and lied on the phone to blizz that they had no clue what happened and that the gold was farmed by them.


TL;DR Offgamers.com = Answer to lazziness. Don't lie to blizzard empolyees.


EDIT* not to mention the cub costs 10 USD. Only a few people can pull off getting more then 5k for it at this point. Price has plumited.

I got 2 permabans for buying gold. 1st ban I bought gold twice and within 3 days was perma'd. The 2nd account I bought gold 4 or 5 times within 6 months and got perma'd.

I still have 4 accounts and will never buy gold again.

Edit: I've been playing since vanilla. My ex-roomate still plays and has bought gold several times from the same place I did (guy4game). He's never even received a warning. I guess I just have shitty luck.
