Gold while leveling(Other than picking up mining and skinning!)

I did a search, but the only thing I came up with was guides about picking up skinning and mining, so I'm unsure if this is a repost(Feel free to delete thread if it is).


Basically what I like to do if I'm beginning a new character and is to pick up enchanting, the disenchant portion is just so useful, ever had a quest where all the rewards were items for other classes? FEAR NO MORE, with enchanting you can disenchant them into gold mines, enchanting reagents go for a lot of gold on my server, even basic things like vanilla dust. Ever felt sorry selling the green you've been using for 10 levels, and you feel it's worth more than the vendor price? FEAR NO MORE, again, disenchanting even basic vanilla items nets a lot of gold.

I haven't used this method, but I started leveling enchanting on my shaman and even Strange Dust goes for 1.5g per on my server.
That's alot considering you start to get green items at level 4ish.

Not trying to be mean but this is kind of common sense and it doesn't really work too well because you have to level up enchanting in order to be able to disenchant higher level items you get while leveling.

This was mostly to help out newer players, I know it's pretty general

Another thing I've noticed since I came back is that the drop rates for green+ items has increased. So if you're in a guild with an enchanter you trust, and useless items that no one buys like -Of the Wolf drop, you can have him him disenchant it for you.

Especially at the beginning of an expansion you can make bank with having enchanting and DEing all mats you get while leveling. I made like 30k while leveling my first toon in WOTLK just from 70-80.

Buying Strange Dust from the AH for 1.5g is kinda stupid. Any <Enchanting Supplies>, <Enchanting Trainer>, <Reagent & Enchanting Supplies> or <Magical Goods> will have a limited supply of Strange Dust (~4), which will replenish over time. That Dust is sold for a mere 8s! Strange Dust on my server sell for about 25s each. Not worth the time, if you ask me.
