Hardware: Lag switch with pictures GUIDE

    Hello Mmowned

I have now been on this website for 3 years. And i think its about time to pay back some guides and exsploits.

This is a guide, how to make your own lag-switch - not a software, but the hardware version.

    What you will need:
    A scissor
    A flat screwdriver
    A star screwdriver
    A light switch
    And a lan/internet cable - i've used a CAT-5

Hardware: Lag switch with pictures GUIDE-photo1-jpg

You take your scissor and cut the wires free.

Hardware: Lag switch with pictures GUIDE-photo2-jpg

Take your light switch and clip the lenght off out in the cable.

Now you need to locate the orange wire.

Once you've cut it. Strip the cables, so the metal gets out. Strip abit, better to much, than less.

Hardware: Lag switch with pictures GUIDE-photo5-jpg

Now it's time to open the light switch. You open it with the flat screwdriver.

Now Screw the screws out. You are going to use the 2 buttom screws, on the picture. Open them.

Now take you striped cables and insert in each side.

Once that done. Try to pull gently in the cables so your a sure they are perfect attached.

    And the finish result.

As others have tested this works best on a apple product. On a apple device, you can reach up to 2 mins, without getting kick'ed off.

This can be used to nearly anything. Arena, bg, instances, u name it.

If you're gaming ps3 to. You can use it ex. on call of duty.

I hope you have enjoyed this guide!

Best regards a hoppefully more active user. Startrack

Thanks for the Pic guide, i've thought about making one with a pushbutton instead so when i push the button and hold down my net is temporarially inturrupted.

cause i use a PC most i can do is 4 to 6 seconds.

but i could make it a big red button. OMG USE THE SHELL FROM AN OFFICE DEPOT "EASY" BUTTON

that would be so damn win

Do you think a xbox360, cable would work for my laptop? I have my brothers old one, so I could save some money from having to buy a new one.

and @Inexx, it should work anywhere! Since you choose when to cause the lag

The one that comes with a 360 is the same as any other ethernet cable so yeah.

You know there is software that does the same thing right? Half the installation time and 1 less peice of hardware you have to switch to mid-fight or whatever.

You can use the xbox 360 cable!

Jadd. As i wrote in the start of the thread. I know there are easier ways. But now you got another version, may be more or less usefull.

This tho can be used for all devices - no requirements.
