Make Gold with Living Ember (crafting boots)

Hi, found a easy way to make gold with Living Ember.

1st: Buy 4 Living Ember for max 4500gold/each.
(At my Server one costs 3500g).

2nd: Find a Profession. You could craft 378 Hands or 378 Boots. I'd prefer Boots.

2.1: Tailorring:
The worst Idea. Because you can only buy 4Living Ember & the tailor needs Dreamcloth
This is Bop. So just forget this profession.

2.2: Leatherworker:
Leatherworker is ok. Not so profitable as Blacksmith but its fine.
Its a good idea to ignore this too.


2.3: Blacksmith. From here comes the Gold.
Crafted Tankboots are Best in Slot: Mirrored Boots
Crafted DpS are good too (BiS for Frost DK, dunno about Retri & Warrior)Warboots of Mighty Lords
Crafted Healboots are Best in Slot again: Emberforged Elementium Boots

Buy 40x Volatile Fire. One costs 5g on my Server. 5*40=200g
Next buy 100x Elementium Ore. One costs 1g on my Server. 1*100=100g
As third buy 40x Volatile Earth. One costs 6g on my Server. 6*40=240g
Now find a Mininer to smelt your Elementium Ore into Elementium Bars & those into Hardened Elementium Bar. Give him around 50g as tip, its fine
You could buy Hardened Elementium Bar from the Auctionhouse too, but one costs 90g on my Server. And you only spend 40g
Now find a Blacksmith with one of those Recipes.
If you have found one, give him 600-1000g as Tip for those Orbs.

Now we spend
200g for fire
240g for earth
100g for ore
650-1050g as tip
14000-18000g for living ember
----
~15000g-20000g

Now send those boots to one of your alts & create a auction in the AH.
I sell them for around 28000g each

=> I made around 13000g Profit for around 10min 'work'

The problem is that on my server, high populated, none of the boots your talking about are selling for more than 17'000 golds.

That's not true, the best stats for Frost DK are Mastery and Haste, those dont have it, don't say things you dont know anything about please.

That WAS a great way to make gold at the beginning of 4.2 but now there are so many orbs at the AH and prices are low. You can still make some profit (1-2k) but not 10k on high populated servers.

If you still want to craft boots, you should AVOID crafting Holy Paladin ones (even if they are BiS pre HM they are hard to sell > only one class/spec need them), cloth ones are better (spi is needed by both healers and dps to regen or reach hit cap). Tooks me 2 weeks to sell them (Paladin ones) at 20k when orb price was around 4-5k, 1 month ago (yeah, no profit, BiS item and still hard to sell) when cloth boots were selling 30-35k easily.

The problem with that kind of item is that people who have gold (yeah 20k is a lot for 90% of players) are playing in guilds and orbs are free so it tooks time to sell.
At the beginning of the 4.2 guild players were buying it because there was no orbs for all guildies AND most of them were farming trash (a lot of gold) so you were able to make 20k profit per boots.

The only way to make a lot of profit now with boots is to wait some chinese people to sell them (on my server they are selling them by stacks of 20 with ****ing low prices: 2-2.5k per ember now and 4k per orb when market price was around 7-8k). Dunno how do they farm them but they have a ****ing huge stock of these (100+).

edit: forgot that you need to find a player with orbs/scroll and now that most PUG clean FL normal mod, fewer and fewer people have orbs in stock (no more heroics). If you have a good profession, it will also take time to have 3 orbs. The best way to farm them is to do heroic dungeon pre zandalary (most of players are new and don't have a 425+ profession to roll on) and if you are lucky you will get 3 orbs in 1-1.5 hour.

I'm on a high pop server and the living embers still sell for 5k-6kish. I went to buy the leather dps boots the other day (less than a week ago) and they were 44k
