(Hunter Forggoten or Unused Macros-Must use- and pet advices)

Hello this is my 3rd post... it has been more than 3 years also sorry for my English I'm in the process of learning

    HUNTER

First of all: Macros that will make a difference

Mark & send pet: this is very useful macro because in a dungeon you can turn your pet on passive.. and using this macro it will only attack the target you are casting the mark
    Macro:
    /cast Hunter's Mark
    /petattack

(its common sense but sometimes we forget

all pet actions in 1 button: i did not wrote. This macro will revive your pet if it's dead or you hold down shift, call it if it's dismissed, mend it if it's alive, feed it if you press alt at the same time and dismiss it if you right click the button.
    Macro:
    #show [modifier:alt] Mutton Chop
    /cast [nopet] Call Pet
    /cast [@pet,dead][mod:shift] Revive Pet
    /cast [pet,nomod,button:1] Mend Pet
    /cast [pet,nomod,button:2] Dismiss Pet
    /cast [pet,mod:alt] Feed Pet
    /use [pet,mod:alt] <food item>

i don't recommend making a macro for arrow skills

    Pet Advices
i will personally recommend to tame a wolf. it has the furious howl that increase your crit strike rating by 5%
or i will recommend a cat too they are one of the most dpsing pet...

obviously this is without going for BM because you can get exotic pet..

i will always recommend in pet talent tree, go for dps and attacking speed, giving armor to your pet its worthless, well at the point that you can heal, I'm talking in a dungeon, this is different when you quest.

    more tips
-always try to get more +agi items- don't go for armor or stamina (you will still get them but choose agi over everything) don't enchant +attack power enchant always +agi it balance your character you will be doing a lot of dps and crits instead of one of those. you get attack power your dps will be higher but lower crit, and if you go crit strike rating you will get less dps, but using agility as a priority will keep you balanced.. or well its my personal opinion.

in raids you can be top dps, just keep aimed and steady shoot and you will see

    WELL this is it! ...

my 3rd guide, i know it must be common sense, i know a lot of you will say repost, or usefulness, but i made it to contribute in what i am good at so hope it will help you, thank you for taking time and reading this...

You dont have a hunter amiright?
You are just copy pasting some macros from an outdated wikipedia.
Feed pet macro? we dont have to feed our pets anymore.
Taming a wolf is pretty much useless if you have a Kitty cat(Feral kitty) or a rogue in raid
Taming a cat is also useless if you have a dk or warrior(Which you most likely have)
Who'd go for armor or stamina?
A macro for mark and set? I do hope you use chimera Shot on the target because when you do, you get a mark on that target
    End note: HAHA-HA-H_HAHAHAHAHAHAH

The best thing to do is download addon called RaidChecklist. You can filter all possible buffs/debuffs from your party/raid and you can also filter out only pet's buffs. That way you will see which buff you can provide with your pet. Basically most of time you will just change between those 4 pets /considering you are not BM/:
    1. Wolf for +5% crit
    2. Cat for +agi/+str
    3. Wind Serpent/Dragonhawk for +8% SP dmg
    4. Ravager for +4% physical dmg

#1, As for solo questing, you should always use a cat as they have the best buff for a Hunter.
#2, your pet should depend on what buffs your raid/dungeon are missing.
#3, Never just DPS with AiS/SS, yes you will do high DPS but when it comes to topping charts you're plain retarded.

Your macros aren't really that good, and as someone already said, they're probably taken from some random site, where you just copy pasted, there's no need for pet macros where you use skills, unless if you're a pvp'er and then you still only need to use the one skill the pet has, and have the other ones on auto for more pressure.

I don't see why everyone needs a macro for your pet to attack, setting it on defensive is fine, passive is fine as well, but seriously, you already have attack and follow keybinded to Alt + 1 and Alt + 2 and having a macro for hunters mark + pet attack is incredibly stupid, since you want to have him marked before the encounter starts, to optimize dps, and sometimes its nice just to mark beforehand you start in an instance, if lets say your tank don't mark, they usually go after the marked mob.

I wouldn't call this completely useless, because i guess some people might actually use this, but really, you're telling people to go for agility over stamina? I think even the newest people know this mate, sorry.
