There's a choice whether to spend Blackfallow's in mysterious fortune cards, or to get more inferno inks for DM cards. I'm not sure which one is better profit but in either case you have to sell the products. Also the average profit from each card varies alot and some cards take long to sell.
To get something like 100k+ gold you need to spend literally Days just milling the herbs(even with auto milling) and making inks. Also more days of time to spend buying cheap herbs, then trading cards, selling stuff.. all this time spent is part of investment too so the "profit" isn't as big as plain gold numbers show, time/work is money too. Nevertheless a very good profit compared to most other ways.
Keep in mind that the biggest profit in Darkmoon Cards have always been at the beginning of expansion. Soon when patch 4.2 hits there will be better trinkets found elsewhere and the prices and demand of darkmoon trinkets will fall down alot within next (few?) months. So I'd advice to start making cards asap if still want to try this method.
