Before people shout repost; I know the kite itself is "old", I'm just posting this to teach druids how they can easily go about doing the kite. In other words, this is a guide on how to do this as a Druid, preferably a resto druid or a boomkin.
The mob we are talking about, is of course Shandris Feathermoon (Shandris Feathermoon - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft )
As a druid, you have the advantage of being ranged. Your ability, Faerie Fire, does not require you to face the opponent you are using it on; and can be buffed by reglyphing for it. By default, this ability has a range of 35 yards, which makes it a bit too short, but once glyphed, its up to 45, and kiting should now be smoother.
If possible, acquire boot enchants with minor speed on them.
I myself did this as a boomkin and as resto, and either was fine really. Because of the fact that she will be running behind you the entire time, you will not have to worry about here starfall attack, but in case you are working a tricky bit of the path, you will want to know that this attack has a 1 min cooldown on the spot, and she will pretty much use it every 1 min. From the looks of it, the cooldown restarts as soon as she is done "channeling" here initial casting thing, and the "starfall effect" starts.
The only damage you should be taking, is the occasional arrow on around 10k, but I have found it impossible to avoid an 40k arrow every now and then as well. To counter this, thou, keep lifebloom up at all times, and let it bloom when she arrows you for 40k. As a resto druid, mana was not a issue at all, because all I did was faerie fire and hot. As a boomkin, however, i found it to be a bit more tricky. You will want to probably have insect swarm up on here, which will procc your ability shooting starts ( instant starsurge), because every time you reach a eclipse, you will gain 16% of your total mana back, if you have specced into euphoria. To be honest, I don't see it doable if you haven't, really, unless you have friends to innervate you.
As far as the path is concerned, its quite easy, and no tricky bit as far as I can see. To keep aggro, however, you need to reapply faerie fire every 5 or so second. I have found it far too excruciating loosing here half ways there thou, so I always go by a rule of 3 seconds, which I've found to be quite good.
The route on which you will be kiting the mob, for the least amount of time spent traveling, is drawn in on the map below.
A friend of mine decided to film the entire route. It's a 4 min vid i recommend you watch if you are planning to pull this off.
