It is not hotfixed. Just farmed up 50 charms in about 3 or 4 minutes.

Still works, thanks for the tip. I've actually taken it a step further by going further north every now and again and rounding the mobs near the aboms that are chained up (don't bother with aboms though). Cuts through the monotony a bit.
