[Hunters] Getting 2 free Aimed Shots with your MMM proc

Firs things first, I searched and didn't find this anywhere on this forum. I'm also sure this has been found somewhere else because I'm not the best when it comes to finding these things, so if I found it I'm sure others have too.

As an MM hunter, when you have 4 stacks of MMM (Master Marksman) you can cast your last Steady Shot and prime an Aimed Shot on the end of it in order to get 2 free Aimed Shots instead of just 1.


How it works:
After your steady shot is fired, if you primed Aimed Shot, you will be mid cast when you get your 5th MMM stack and it will proc your Free Instant cast Aimed Shot. Since you are already casting Aimed shot it doesn't eat your "Fire!" charge but it becomes free as if it does. So now your casted Aimed Shot is free and you can still use your instant free Aimed Shot.

Doing this you can get about 120k (assuming they both crit) damage in about 2.5 seconds for no focus cost. Add in an instant Chimera shot and you can get up to 150k (these numbers are based on my gear)

yea i knew about this it was in a youtube video. most likely not working as intended. With this bug u can get 4 aimed shots off in a row.

120k isn't right, it's greatly over-exaggerated, you'd be lucky to get 100k. My hunter has a 355 iLevel, and doing this I was barely able to crit 43k back to back.

my hunter has a 360 iLevel and im pushing 54-60k crits. I have yet to get under a 50k

It's actually a bug/exploit, so it's kinda wrong section.

120k is close enough. I'm almost always doing 50-60k crits, sometimes it goes to 44-50k though.

And it's 60% chance for this to happen, since the SS has 60% chance of proccing the Master Marksman.
If it doesn't proc the 5th charge, it's not free Aimed Shot, and if you are going to try and reproduce it with casting 1 SS and aimed right after, it's just waste of dps.

TLDR; If it doesn't proc Fire! on the first try, don't try to force it to proc it. Just continue normal rotation and try to get it on the next cycle.
