Just wanted to add that if you have nice friends or guildies you can enter Blackrock Caverns and Throne of the Tides(tested with my own 78 Mage).
These instances will give you item lvl 308 gear and you only need to be lvl 78 to wear it.

Also you can put Rare Cata gems in the belt buckle like Solid Ocean Sapphire(only item lvl 285 needed)
Only belt atm for Rare Cata gems is Beaty's Silken Ribbon.

This is great actually leveled up my hunter just because of this and i got hold of like 3 items and im already two shotting spell classes with 13k crits +rep for this

looks like a nice list BUT what about blue items from cata dungeons? could add them as BiS.
Also - profession enchants? for example my rogue has +145stam +45 agi leggings enchant from Leatherworking! and +130 agi enchant for bracers from Leatherworing as well
