Gold farming in Cata by mining

I shearched for a mining guide but did'nt find anything, that's why I'm gonna make my own. It's quite common sense, but people may don't know about everything that i'm gonna tell you.

You should start at the green arrow because all the players that are farming here are going on the other way because it's clother of the Ally and Horde's city.

I suggest you to not go in the cave (yellow cercle) because there is a lot of people and a lot of 85 mobs.

Some common tips : Get a 280% mount and gatherer if you don't have them
DON'T make Hardened Elementium bar if you want to mine for gold. Because Hardened Elementium bar sell for worth than 10 Elementium bars and 4 volatil earth in most of servers.
Try to farm when people are not playing : Early in the morning, very late at night, or when people are working.


Mining is actually on of the best way to make gold. And it's easier and faster than farming gold. Think about it.

Mining is very fast to up if you follow this guide, i did 0-525 in like 2 days and now i make a LOT of gold.

I don't know how you guys can make gold by selling ores/bars. on my server a stack elementium is worth 30g and a stack elementium bars around 50g. a stack obsidium is worth the same. It is worth much more when you farm volatile life with the treasure finding potion. but it looks like this depends on the server! still a nice farm route you posted there!

Yep it's really sdepend of your serveur. On mine a stack sell for ~250gold
