You can fish there 3 different types of fishes + Volatile Water, used for enchants if I remember correctly.
You need waterwalking.

fishing near uldum can also be done without waterwalking, just try hugging the mountain near the oh-shit-i-got-ported-back line.

I dont get it in Tanaris. Everytime I get ported back. This let me think ist is impossible at the moment.

Fishing in Cataclysm pools was fixed, so no chance to fish cata fishes until Cata comes.
U will catch fish only from fish schools, which is no worth wasting time.
