Buying/scaming Large Amounts Of Gold=bad!!

Blizzard has recently changed the mail delivery on gold to 1 hour, the same as all other items. Guess what that means? You guessed it Blizzard now MONITORS the mailing of gold. So if you scam alot of gold on a lvl 1, then mail the gold to your main and delete the lvl1, there is a high chance you will get BANNED....YES BANNED. Works the same with buying gold. Blizzard sees 1k gold come from a lvl 1 to you and then the lvl is deleted, you will most likely get BANNED. So just a heads up for all my fellow mmowned members. Be careful dealing with large amounts of gold now. Also one trick that may have a lower chance of you getting banned is put up an auction for x amount of gold on the char you want to have the gold. The go on the alt buy the auction, then delete the char or keep the char whatever you want. that most likely has a lower chance of blizz noticing your main just received 2k gold from a lvl 1 . Interestingly enough, gold that i send from my mains is instant, but from my twink or level 1 bank alt it takes 1 hour, perhaps lowerlevel charectars it takes 1 hour to process?

I scammed around 400 gold from an account a few days ago, got banned the very next day for 72 hours, and all gold got removed. This wasn't because of the GM's, this was because the person I scammed reported my account. Err, Reported my SCAMMED account.

i had some friends that were telling me that it takes 1 hour now

edit to my post: When a high lvl mails gold to a lower lvl it takes 1 hour. When a lower lvl sends mail to a higher lvl it takes 1 hour. This is to slow down gold sellers.But they still monitor it if it takes 1 hour

You guys need to read patch notes.. I would copy and paste it, but god damn thats a lil too much effort, Gold delivery is only instant if its sent from the same account, If its sent from someone else, it will take the manditory 1 hour to be cleared,
this was released the same time as the season 2 gear patch, Some of us our late eh?

From alt to main it is instant as it said in the patch notice's which i recommend some of you read haha becuase it will save alot of space on here..
But from account to another account it is the standard 1hour of boredom, and if scamming 1 hole more hour that blizzard can order pizza, relax in the lazy boy chair's and pick up you sending your sneakily scammed gold back to your main

You guys need to read patch notes.. I would copy and paste it, but god damn thats a lil too much effort, Gold delivery is only instant if its sent from the same account, If its sent from someone else, it will take the manditory 1 hour to be cleared,
this was released the same time as the season 2 gear patch, Some of us our late eh?

It wasn't in the patch notes. The blues even wrote on the forum saying that "This accidently managed to miss the patch notes". =P

Only thing about the mail in the patch notes were the extended time for opened mail. And it was released in the last patch, not the season 2 gear patch. This was released in the minor patch of 11/07/07.
While season 2 gear was released in the patch released 20/06/07.

Next time you tell someone to read the patchnotes, perhaps you should do it yourself, ok? No wonder you're on -rep.

I have never heard of ANYONE getting banned for buying gold. I have heard for getting banned for selling gold and what not, but never buying. What they do is delete the gold that was being bought. Don't even warn your account or anything.

The one hour timer was probally just to make it harder to buy gold, not to trace it or anything.

It was on the patch notes, just not the patch notes when season 2 gear was released.

It was on a later patches notes.
