Download Cata data without Digital pre-order

You'll have 4.0.3 downloaded, which is a version of Beta ATM, not actual Cata. You'll still end up having to download the actual Cata patch after you get your CD key. If you did the digital pre-order then you'll get your key code and be able to download everything ahead of time anyways. Cata live doesn't launch until 3 AM eastern, 2 central, 1 rm, and 12 west,,, so if you're on the east coast you can go to gamestop at midnight, pick up your game, instal, download the patch, go to sleep for a couple hours, then be ready for your levelign grind.

In response to my previous post, I deleted the 2 folders and rebooted the comp and it worked fine again. I was pretty devastated when I saw servers go live 12:01am PST, being on the eastern coast and having to work at 8am the next day, I highly doubt ill be able to stay up that late to play, PLUS even if I do, I will never get to sleep, maybe Ill just have to suck it up and pull an all nighter :P

Is there any possibilty someone could re-upload this? As I cant download with my launcher, it just says connection to downloader blablabla and shuts down, is there maybe someone who can help me with that ?

Probably not but when people are waiting on buying cata....you wont need as large a download

after i changed both to CT i open the launcher it doesnt download anything..and the links come up to an error page :\

I had the doesn't download anything bug AFTER i downloaded.....went to my wow folder hit exe......(bypassing the launcher)...a day later no problems, i think hitting exe resets your proper permissions so the launcher works again

IF you get error while running the launcher or it doesn't download, just right click the laucher shortcut and select run as admin

i dont get the point doing this... if you are going to buy the game in the a shop on release day and you got the pre-order download you will be home at 1am(shop opening at 0:00) because you have to travel home. and than you are happy that you dont have to install the cd and save time. but if you pre-order you will play the game at 0:01am. i dont see the "omg i save time"-argument.

The reason it's useful is the fact that if you are prepared for a "Server/World First" on launch time... you would accomplish this FASTER (an hour means everything...) than you would without this useful trick/download. So instead of being a negative nelly... why don't you think a little before you speak on peoples posts?! Thanks ass!

Don't use DVD install if you get it.. It will restore teh game into 4.0.0. version :rolleyes
