It would be a great way to make gold, but the obvious problem being (as you already pointed out) you need to have a fairly decent supply of gold on both sides already. I can imagine having many panic attacks if I were to DC or my internet were to die during this whole trading process. Good idea though.

You only need to have a good supply on one side. The idea is that you have say 40k on a horde character, but you know someone that wants gold and has a lot on an alliance character. You would then trade your gold with a 5 or 10% 'commission' so they dont lose 15%. If they're working with big numbers it'll help them. 15% of 20k gold is 3k,,, say you take even 5% for your transfer fee, you just made 1k.

So they want 20k on their horde, you're charging 5 or 10%, so they give your alliance character 20K + the transfer fee, 1000, 2000, ect. Then you'd give them the 20k on their horde character. Now you have 20k on your horde cahracter, and 22k on your alliance.

Now you can trade either way, so now you know a horde player who wants gold on his alliance, same ammount. You trade over with your charge and you now have 42k on your horde, and 2k on your alliance, for a total of 4k profit for you. Keep repeating this over and over.

Actually that's really smart I don't know why I didn't think of it that way.

This is actually a really good way to get a supply of gold on both horde and alliance characters if you were going to try and get into both auction houses.

    GJ on necro, Proph.

Nobody at ALL reads the ToS these days?

(viii) Communicate directly with players who are playing characters aligned with the opposite faction (e.g. Horde communicating with Alliance or vice versa)
It should be noted in OP that there is a possibility for getting banned using this. I do however deem that possibility to be ridiculously low.
