Play World of Warcraft in 3D! :)

Hey, guys. I found a way to play World of Warcraft and many other games in 3D without paying. Not sure if I should have posted it here though, so feel free to move it to another section if needed. And yes, I know some video cards (like those of nVidia) already support it, but this should work with alot video-cards.

    1. First of all, you need to download this: iZ3DDriverSetup.1.10.exe
    Install it (default settings).

    2. Open the settings. (It will open automatically after you installed the program). Adjust the settings accordingly.

    [X] Enable stereo.
    [ ] Enable stereo by hot-key.
    [ ] Disable stereo.

    Output: Anaglyph (free)
Red/Cyan (depends on the type of glasses you use)

    3. Open the profiles tab. You should see a drop-down menu and pick World of Warcraft. If it's not there, start your World of Warcraft client first and try it again. After that there should be a tab 'inside' the profiles tab called Game. Adjust the settings accordingly:

    [ ] Show FPS.
    [ ] Disable mouse lock.
    [ ] Show Wizard.
    [ ] Enable Clipping.
    [X] Show on-screen messages.
    [ ] Force V-sync off.
[ ] Use simple stereo projection method.
    [ ] Swap L&R.

    Clipping with 1%
    Window mode: auto.
    Separation scale: 1
    Separation mode: Symmetric

Hit apply. Restart World of Warcraft & enjoy.

Play World of Warcraft in 3D! :)

Not much.. and you need the 3D glasses that YouTube uses to use it, pretty much all that happened is my character displays in front of the screen, no spell effects, no mobs, and it's VERY hard to play, not worth doing imo.

That depends entirely on how strong you set the effect to be, and how good you can perceive stereopsy. A large amount of adults are stereo-deficient. If that's the case, the iz3D driver allows you to set the effect very low to get used to it. You have control over what pops "out" and "in" of the screen. Personally, I prefer to see things inside the monitor than outside - the sense of depth feels stronger to me.

I'm not sure why others are having trouble with spells, it might be a driver issue. WoW works in 3D 100% perfectly here. The biggest issue is that the huge color distortion you get makes very hard to actually play seriously, unless you know the places so well you don't need/care about interface to do your job.
